Turned on my PS3 quite early this morning (8am) and checked the PSN store for the map pack. No sign, so I started the game to check for any sort of double XP message but before the game loaded it required me to download an update to the size of 171MB. Not sure what, if any it has updated but there is still no double XP or map pack as yet for PS3.

I'm thinking this applies to both PS3 and 360 seeing as JD (who i think is the 402 of treyarch) only mentions one point affecting the 360 only.

Yeah just seen that in a pinned topic on the COD HQ. One of the many topics there believes we (England) wont get the map pack until 1pm which would be typical as I have work then! Still double XP is on as we speak though there is no message to inform the gamer of it just play some HQ and you will see clearly it is on.

I think I'll go play some CTF then and see if its Double XP. I don't think it is double XP how much do you get for kills?

I'm downloading it now.

It's 423.14 mb and 800 microsoft points.

There will be double xp...It's on the front page on xbox, and if it isn't on then it will be on.

 

Any mode but deathmatch you get 5 points per kill 10 on DXPWE

I can't download the maps because I guess XBL is going through some hard times. It won't let me redeem points on the box and the site won't even go to the Marketplace page. Damn nice time to crap out on me...

It's awesome, lots of doors to open, the power switch etc. Even 1 zombie can take you down in 1 second at round 5. Seriously, this is hard. You press the switch, then you must go outside and activate the electric barricades. Unfortunately, they disable after sometime. Apparently there's a PPsH in the box, but I've yet to see it. 1st team has the option of Kar98k and Gwehr-43, 2nd has Springfield and M1 Garand. I'm pretty sure second team spends more money to get to the switch, but that's probably just me. Anyway, I would rate this map 10/10.

Just got the PPsH for the first time. With all the perks it's awesome! My trick is to buy perks when there is only one zombie left.

 

Also, in the random weapon box there is a teddy bear. Once you get the bear the random weapon box will destroy itself and it will appear somewhere else

Does it float about halfway in the air before destroying itself? I remember part of the trailer showing the mystery box halfway in the air and rotating, and it scared the sh*t out of me.

Your not alone mate, most PS3 users across the net have reported the same problems. I don’t know if it’s Sony or Treyarch to blame but the fact is the PS3 has been out long enough that they should know what can and cant go wrong from DLC. I’ve not heard of any problems for 360 users as yet.

I think it may be because of demand. I finally got to get my points but my friend STILL can't buy Mpoints. Anyway the Zombie Asylum is very hard lol.

I’ve not heard of any problems for 360 users as yet.

Xbox Live and Windows Live has been f*cking up for a lot of people and Xbox.com doesn't even work. We also get billing problems....

 

 

Currently, Xbox LIVE members may experience issues related to billing. That means difficulties with account recovery, account management, Marketplace functions and/or making purchases. Users who already have Microsoft Points in their account will be able to redeem them.  Until these issues are resolved, you will also be unable to sign in to Xbox.com, which includes posting in the forums and queuing up downloads on the Marketplace. All other areas of LIVE (matchmaking, friends lists, messaging etc.) are not affected.

If both the PS3 and 360 are having problems regarding payment thingies then maybe Treyarch have f*cked something up with their new DLC?.
