Yeah, the fourth one isn't too great either. The characters looked great in it, but the terrain... Hope the pics are of bad quality.

 

Did CoD4 have tracers? This one does.

Yeah the textures look really bad in the 3rd one. But remember, theres still a lot of time left to improve it.

All i have to say is, wow. I am very impressed by this. Did you see that video? This game is going to be extremely bloody. Unlike Call of Duty 4, there's a lot of blood in this one!

Good find(s) Carbine. Screen 14 especially looks good, the detail in the trees is brilliant. Although the pics of tanks in a desert area reminds me of the craptacular Hour of Victory demo, where you took control of a tank in a similar place.

Any ideas on battles and division/regiment? 1st Marine would seem suitable. And by the lack of the tin helmets, we haven't seen any of the first battles. Maybe we start at Peleliu. Hope not.

I've just decided to look at this topic, and from reading just this page, i am glad to see that there are still some people that aren't bashing the game because:

 

a) Treyarch are making it

b) It's set in WWII

 

I personally can't wait for this game and i have been waiting for a NextGen WWII game that looks decent, with BiA coming soon and this to follow, i think i'm gonna be pleased.

Yes this is me talking about the bashers of Call of Duty: World at War. Most of the time i could care less, but these bashers really piss me off. Sorry if some of my words are slurred or some things come out slowly because i had to do it in one recording.

You made some really good points. Halo kids... That's what I'm gonna call them. Great rant video, , I sat through the entire thing, and you've made me hate bashers (unless they have a valid point). Goddamn, those crickets are annyoing. CoD2 really was better than CoD4, but I've gotta say, the BiAs are better. CoD2 is for some weird reason, still no. 2 on my GoAT list.

 

And how the f*ck can you tell the difference between an M1 and M21 - powerwise - in an online game? Get shot in the head once, you're character is dead.

 

I'd be stuttering and going "uhh, err, yeah... So... Urr", I do it when I talk in real life, imaging how that would turn out... Good job.

 

I can't wait for this game, the videos were good, especially the one that displayed the blood - one of the Russian.

Damn those new screenshots and videos look amazing, this game definitely looks better and better as time goes on, can't wait now, getting the same excitement as i did with CoD4 .

Maybe in terms of multiplayer, as CoD is obviously going to have a bigger multiplayer fanbase, but in terms of story and single player - Brother in Arms wins hands down.

Treyarch have already said that they are sticking with the same general formula of the CoD4 MP, with Perks and all that, just localizing it to the WWII time frame, as wells as including the 3 Kills/5 Kills/7 Kills bonuses.

 

I really can't wait for this game, and i think it will still have a very good story, but maybe not up to the BiA HH standards.

Good, but I wonder if they'll stick with the CoD4 perks or create their own. First thing they should do with multiplayer though (if they keep CoD4 perks) is remove bloody Juggernaut and the Grenade launcher. Multiplayer will then be fun!

 

I know they're keeping ranks for Multiplayer, but prestiges though? That's one of the main reasons people still play Modern Warfare. Well it's kept me glued. Oh and one last thing, the rewards for our kill streaks are going to have to be thought of pretty thoroughly, no more Helicopters (thank God!).
