Don't die and kill all the enemies

 

 

But to be serious, there are no real tips except

 

- Follow walkthroughs on youtube

- Hang back, and take the level slowly

- Let allies take out a minority of the enemies with their sh*tty aim

- Run away as soon as you see the grenade indicator

I have reached rank 20 in 1 hour and 30 Min's. Thought that was pretty good considering you unlock S&D at 14. On my PS3 I reached 2nd prestige then my PS3 got the YLOD and I forgot my account details and lost my progress. BTW I meant I have had the game 2 days.

I haven't played this game for some months now, but this is a really good game. It might be my favourite game in the Call of Duty franchise. I haven't beat this game 100% on veteran yet though. There was a Mission in the end I could'nt beat on Veteran. I think it was Das Reichstag or the mission before that.

I think you mean Heart of the Reich. I have completed all missions but three, including that one. I played it again today, and it's such a short game, shame there was never any singleplayer DLC (apart from Nazi Zombies).

I still play this game alot. Not only MP, but SP too. I love the european missions and Its fun to mess around with cheats and stuff.

 

And in MP Ive been mostly playing a mod called ZombieX. But in the normal MP I still play alot.

Meh, I've been playing Zombies, but with this.

 

Basically, it allows you to complete challenges and rank up in zombies, where you unlock news guns and you have Create-a-Class. It's basically like the MP stuff in zombies. You can get more perks (Overkill, Extreme Conditioning etc), you can change the difficulty, you can add bosses (zombies with a sh*t load of health),Pretty awesome IMO.

 

The Console Commands are f*cking awesome in the normal game zombie mode. Try entering

 

 

perk_weaponRateMultiplier 0.001

 

 

Turns the Ray Gun into a Heavy-MG Ray Gun, and other guns into, well, pretty powerful ones. Try the C-3000 B1ATCH35 with it

Wow, went online just to play with a mate, First game we join is Domination, it's quite late so the servers are full of Americans. Boom i've been hacked! My Kills, Deaths, Score etc stats are all gone. I'd be so pissed off if i gave a sh*t about WaW, I just pray something like this isn't possible on Black Ops!

I think World at War Zombies is a lot better than Black Ops. Today, my friend and I got to round 32 on Der Reise. It wasn't that hard, the rounds are really short with only 2 people. Who still plays WaW zombies?

I do. Never really stopped. I had 19 000+ kills and 10 days of playing time on my old account, and have 15 000+ kills and 10 days on my new one.

 

There are averagely 3 000 people and less online daily (PSN). Most of the playlists are dead.

 

Only have 3 more challenges left in multiplayer. One of which is Double-Barreled Shotgun Expert, so I'll get it sooner or later. All other Expert challenges done! The second one is War Hero, which I may get, and the third one is Domination Victor, which I'll never get since the Domination playlist is literally dead in this game. After these challenges, I may switch to Co-op to get the challenges done there too.

 

I tried Modern Warfare 2 as I thought I needed something new. It only lasted about a month, after which I gave it out and realized that I'm perfectly happy with my good old WaW.

 

It's amazing how much I've been through with this game. I believe I've played it since launch. Survived the hacker plague back in 2011. I guess I have the right to call myself a World at War veteran. Have been playing Hardcore TDM for years now. There are several of us who just keep coming back to this game and every time you play HTDM, you can see some of us online. We're like a small family. I don't have any of them as friends on PSN, but I consider them as my friends. I don't know if they think the same, lol, but I have respect for these guys and am always glad when I see them in the same match as me, even though I mostly get my ass kicked when playing against them. :') We still get an occasional hacker, in which case he gets bashed by all of us, be it over microphone, text messages or the host simply ending the game.

 

This game is one of the rare places that make me feel like home. I've played it for so long, and I still sometimes discover a new place to jump to or hide in, or a new window to see and shoot through. I think Treyarch put so much effort and thought into making these maps. Not something that can be applied to BO2's or MW3's maps. The maps are also a lot bigger than in newer CoDs and yet I feel like there's less camping, which IW and Treyarch are supposedly trying to stop in newer CoDs. I don't know. Also, WaW is not overcomplicated. My opinion is that it started going downhill with MW2.

And you have actual stealth in this game! Snipers can actually have a good time. They can actually do what they're supposed to do - snipe. Not quickscope or no-scope people.

 

All in all, one of, if not THE best game on this generation of consoles and maybe even all-time, for me. If you don't have this game, honestly, it's probably not worth buying, seeing as there aren't many people online anymore. If you do, however, you're always welcome to join us on HTDM. Give it a shot, play for a while, don' just quit right away, maybe you'll like it.

I play the game because of co-op story thats all - how many people still play it? i dont like the mp tho only co-op

Not many people on Co-op either. Depends on the difficulty. 50 on Recruit, 20 on Regular, 5-ish on Hardened and there's rarely, if ever, anyone on Veteran.

 

I'm surprised to see there are still relatively many people playing Nazi Zombies, especially the first, original map, Nacht der Untoten.

 

I don't play it, but like I said, I may switch to it from MP in order to complete the challenges.

I have the same feeling for the first Black Ops, I have played it pretty much daily since launch, now however I am playing a lot more, before It was like 1-2 games a day, but now I have some more time so I play 1-5 hours daily., I have over 130 000 kills now and about 32 days worth of play, but I still find it the most fun game to play when i'm bored these days, yes, there is quickscoping, but you need to practice it regularly to be any good at it, I don't like the new cods much, I like some of the old ones though, but in Australia it's damn near impossible to find lobbies for games like COD 5.

 

It's an odd thing, people tell me I need to play the new cods, I just have to get into them. I tell them "Why?" "Why should I bother trying to play new ones which I enjoy less? That makes no sense at all"

 

So I will play Black Ops 1 until It dies out.
