With all the new perks, Bowie Knife, Monkey Bomb, Wunderwaffe,

etc. Nacht just seems like utter sh*t.

Highest level I've got in Nacht der Untoten is 21 and in Der Riese is 28 both done with 2 other friends. We know each other well enough to work as an efficient team with decent tactics.

On Der Riese we were playing with another random and were heading for the big 30 when my friend timed out and we were left without him and as he is probably the best player, we survived only another 2 rounds to get to 28, the second time I've reached that round and died Has anyone here ever reached level 30 on Der Riese without cheating, cos' it's certainly a challenge.

How anyone can say Der Riese is the worst is beyond me. The monkeys bombs are cool, but the PaP is even better. Seriously, tops that Untoten sh*t any day.

 

 

I got to 26 before, then some guy thinks he's god and jumps off the bowie knife room catwalk heading for the teleporter, only to get down exactly when he landed.

I only said it because I've played it about three times, and it was with someone who knew how to do everything, so he just opened a ton of doors and made me run through a bunch of areas without me getting to see what they're all about.

 

I'm sure it's a good map, but I can't really rate it anything good because I'm: a) not really into it, and b) not too experienced with it.

Yeah that was me, my bad. I probably should've let you explore the first area properly.

 

I have Der Reise last on my list for a number of reasons, i don't HATE it, i just find that is a massive map and can take forever to get from one place to another, and from my experience people seem to just run off alone, and i always seem to be the only one who wants to take some initiative and try and help the guy or to get the teleporters on so you can actually access that P-a-P machine, and even though the machine allows you to make semi-auto weapons full-auto, it takes away some of the challenge of actually fighting the zombies themselves.

 

Don't get me wrong, it's a decent map and can be fun with the right team, but i still have a bunch of fun on Nacht Der Untoten, which doesn't even have all the perks, traps, upgradeable weapons and various other things. You can say they've improved on the whole Zombie mode, but i don't really think they needed to, as it was fun in the first place. Plus a lot of people seem to make it a competition to get to the highest round possible. It's just a damn game.

This. There's too much weird sh*t in the other maps. It's called nazi zombies..not "DrinkSomePerksAndTurnOnThePowerAndFollowAFloatingBox Zombies".

Unfortunatly I came up well sort on my goal. The personal challenge was to get to level 65 within 24 hours of gameplay time. The restrictions were:

 

Team Deathmatch Only

No SMG Classes (could pick up from battlefield though)

Use MG's only when neccesary

 

I ended up at 54.5

 

On the good side though I have a near 40% accuracy, 1.60 K/D (+1000) and 1.40 W/L on that account.

 

Losing the challenge XP from the SMG's and the other game modes really turned out to be the deciding factor. :sad:

Hahahaha I just knifed General Amsel in the face! I also noticed he's in the SS, his cuff title betrayed him. Here's a walkthrough for anyone interested in the hows, ifs and buts. Second time around, his own stupid bodyguards killed him while aiming for me!

I don't know, it would be pointless making something similar to Nacht der Untoten in it's simplicity. I like the added features, it forces you to come up with new tactics and makes better use of your points, instead of spending them only on getting the best weapons then when you do see how long you can last in one place. I think in this case they could add a lot more features to make Nazi Zombies an epic side-game, and who doesn't love the PaP machine?

No problem man, I cheated and got Gunslinger with it too, to be honest if I persevered I could have got it legit but I couldn't be bothered. I've just done all of the COD 5 campaign on Veteran, except for Downfall, which has stumped me. As hard as Heart of the Reich is (f*cking impossible but I managed to get it through sheer luck and hard work) I'm taking a rest and I'll try Downfall again tomorrow.

I sprayed wildly and killed him like 5 times yet no achievement.

Has to be with a side arm, maybe you're using something else by mistake? You've got to be right up to him, then blast him, perhaps you're shooting from a little far off. His guards ignore you if you sneak up behind the cover, and the other guards won't touch you if you hurry, just blast him and you'll be warped to Reznov.

 

I finally completed Downfall and got a cool 130G. My last kill to complete the campaign was to knife a legless SS soldier whose limbs has been blown off from the rockets! I knifed him while holding the Russian flag, it must have been a spectacle to see, me slitting his throat as I held the flag up, showing Germany's defeat! I went on to get Firestarter and Blue Ribbon (easy stuff I was never bothered to do) right after.

 

Next, the secret achievements!

Dam, I wish I knew of that work around to get to Amsel before I got rid of the game. I still had many veteran levels I had given up on but would have loved to get that one done and out the way before trading it in. I’ll have to borrow it off a friend just for that trick now!

Yeah, its really useful, I think I'm going to knife him again just to celebrate overcoming the last two levels in veteran; Heart of the Reich and the beginning and end of Downfall were the worst levels I've played in terms of difficulty in a long time.

 

Unfortunately no secret achievements for me, I don't want to prestige and so those 0G achievements aren't for me!
