Vigilante

Recommended Posts

You know in Vice City where you start this mission and put a police vehicle inside a garage and then type the "All cars explode" cheatcode to earn a kill? Well in San Andreas it still works as well!

So why is people literally saying the ONLY way to cheat the Vigilante missions in San Andreas is if you go to a Burgershot, a normal store, or a safehouse and then come back outside?

I believe the referrence to that glitch is cheating w/o using game cheats to cheat.

Thus, cheat by glitch "supposedly trumps cheat by using cheats.

I use neither and consider the need for such things as the only means of finishing the mission as cheap and undeserving of such multisyllable words like pathetic.

While we are at it - the SWAT Tank can start the Vigilante missions but it sprays out water?. During the "End of The Line" mission, instead of using it to ram the building, head to your garage and put it inside! Now type in the [All Cars Explode] cheatcode and the "Mission Failed" message will appear and the tank will heal itself. I believe this is the only way to keep it.

Here's how to do the Vice City vigilante trick:

1. Grab a police bike or car.

2. Put it inside the garage.

3. Start "Vigilante" and get off your bike.

4. Type in [All Cars Explode] cheatcode.

5. You are rewarded with a kill.

6. Get on the bike.

7. The next level starts depending on how many times you will have to repeat Steps 4-6.

So you don't have to do no Burgershot crap!

Someone moved my thread. Am I on a roll in giving out cheats and tricks for San Andreas? biggrin.gif

Here's how to do the San Andreas remixed Vigilante trick:

1. Grab a police bike or car.

2. Put it inside the garage.

3. Start "Vigilante".

4. Type in [All Cars Explode] cheatcode.

5. You are rewarded with a kill.

So does this mean you can complete Vigilante without having to chase and kill the bad guys?

Or you could just put the Swat Tank in the Drink like suggested by System Error's Bulletproof Car Page off of Game Faq

In fact you could blow it up other methods as well which can be found on System Error's pages in various locations through out the net.

So, tis possible to aquire w/o cheats at all.

Yes!

I could simply blow up the car Sweet's in (bullet proof, right? Maybe I could shoot his head!) Or I could commit suicide (grenade myself) while the tank is already inside the garage. I haven't tested it, though.
