JCMillerTime
I'm doing vigilante missions in the hunter and I think there's something wrong with the game. Before, I've gone up to level 230 and my wanted level never exceeded three stars. Now I'm going at it again and I'm on level 35 and my wanted level won't go over 2 stars. Anyone experience this before?
OrionSR
Yes, sort of. And I never figured out the pattern. The wanted level changes somehow during extended vigilante missions. After a while, it becomes impossible to raise the wanted level beyond current levels. I was trying to hold a 6 star wanted level for the duration of a Vigilante mission with a Rhino, but when I accidentally collected a bribe hidden in Foster Valley I couldn't get the wanted level back to 6 stars no matter how much havoc CJ caused. I gave up working on extended vigilante missions due to frequent crashes on PC so I never made much progress figuring out the modified wanted level system. HolyGrenadeFrenzy
With the chain guns you will not attain stars unless you fire on police vehicles and sometimes not even then....rarely. You can get your stars up there but as long as you hit your targest with the chain guns and hurriedly leave you will often loose a star. Leveling in Vigilante affects the lowering of stars time and also repairs some damage to your Hunter or other Vigilante vehicle. I hope we have completely answered the question but I am positive that it is possible to gain more stars if you kill eveybody but level six is still much more difficult unless you slow down your criminal hunting and go after cops for awhile after you flip the tmer a couple times. I just recieved a new TV and have a DVD burner for recording my Hunter Vigilante Missions and am planning a video walk through once I figure the ins and outs of the recording and editing.
