My favourite stations in the past were: GTA3 - Head Radio and Lips 106 VC - Emotion 98.3, Flash FM AND Wave 103 San-An - Radio Los Santos and K-DST I personally HATE the K-Jah garbage and V-Rock although OK is nothing on the other 80's music on offer. In SA, I found myself listening to "Radio Los Santos," and the other urban stations in Los Santos; CSR and 98.5 in San Fierro, and rock/country in the badlands/Las Vegas. Not because I liked the music especially, but because it captured each locale. Exactly, and that's what GTA is all about. Making you actually BELIEVE you are where the game takes place. That's why I love GTA, because it does an absolutely masterful job at capturing the environment and making you believe in the game. I mean, just look at the music in the 3 trailers. In my opinion, they sound like "classic" GTA music. It fits the mood of the trailer/game very well and just has that signature mafioso sound that only GTA can seem to really capture. I'm also all for techno trance hardcore station. *Niko sits comfortably behind his Toyota Matrix auto and puts his sunglasses on,selects and plays the Hardcore Techno/Trance playlist ,pumps the volume up and sets the bass level to the max...blows up the subwoofer and speakers!YEEEAAAHHH!! I guess I should make a list of which things I want in: unknow but still alittle bit know bands, such as Skillet, more music from that dude's music from the third trailer, oldies: AC/DC, Queen, and more, rock and metal, like, Metallica, Slayer and KoRn, a techno dance kind of radio, mostly with DJ Cammy music, and, that's it... All that metal and rock from now days gives me more of a headache then listening to a jet fighter fire up. Enterprise07 Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 Yeah, not EVERY GTA fan listens exclusively to the Rock and Hip Hop stuff, my personal preference is the Rock Ballads in VC, K-DST, The talk shows and the Fake-Pop in GTA3. Anywho I do agree, GTA is all about getting the right feel and mood for the setting and making the game a seamless experience - no matter what people say about San Andreas the Los Santos section at least was really suited to the West coast rap and CSR. and from the music on the 3 trailers it seems that Rockstar will deliver the goods once more - I love their taste of obscure yet absolutely fantastic tracks.
