Bond Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 I'm currently attending a community college at the moment, and my current major is Visual Art. Are there any of you here who also plan on transferring to a four-year art university? I am currently into the realm of drawing and painting, but can't really find which one I want to do more. Anyway, are there any people who are, or have been attending any good (art) schools? Those that learn english get to learn programming, and the part that learns german learns engineering. In our first year they told us that the german part will learn programming and english, while the english part will learn german and programming. Half way into the first year they left that, so now im stuck with being an engineer and a teacher who i could kick in the balls every morning. Your best bet is to go and talk to the school that you want to go to. Of course, they'll tell you whatever they can to get your application, but it's worth it to get a bit more information. Though.. in my free time, I do shiz like this; Though, I admire you for taking your subject that far; I couldn't stand dancing around art like what you get a school.. If you're considering going to SF for an Art college, go to SF Art Institute. It's an established school here, it's been around forever, and is SO MUCH BETTER than the Academy. @Uno, Visual Arts isn't vague at all, for people who know what it is at least. ...besides that I ain't sayin nuthin. I know several people that have gone there or are still attending. All the care about is money. And furthermore they try to make the school out to be a legitimate university. You know they now have a mascot? It's a f*cking mascot for a supposed art school, and the best they could come up with is, "the urban knights". And they are planning on playing sports? The only draw to that place is the fact that it's mostly downtown. And for anyone that hasn't lived in a big city, it's exciting. Until you find yourself in the tenderloin late at night, and see the trannies, crack heads, and guys with guns sticking out of their pants. Not to bag on SF though.
