strongshot
so, R* said that gtaIV's story is focused on nicko & roman, and that most of the missions involve them both, so, is there any reason to not add coop? at least off-line, better if on-line, any coment? b4rtsimps0n
Most missions involve them both? I didnt read that anywhere.. And i have read everthing. well, maybe not everything lol No he's right. The story mostly involves Niko and Roman..but they didn't say anything about the missions. And the missions described in the previews so far, only involve Niko doing them. You'll probably have to do some missions with Roman, but not so many missions that you can complete the story co-op with Roman.
beanmachine43
I agree. Rockstar's promised us some great multiplayer action, and not including co-op would be sort of half-assing it. Having free/roam is important for me though, not just on specific missions or entirely different ones. Having private servers for 3 other players would be fine for me, even if storyline missions weren't available.

xxkeelingxx
Does Roman seem like a tough killer? No, he doesn't. What does that have to do with anything? He hides in dumpsters, he's not going to be at Niko's side shooting people to death. He is a coward.

ceedot
Well, I remember Rockstar saying you may need online to complete some missions....
GTA4FANATIC
For me I think co-op is very possible. Although in the previews Romain was not involved in the missions it wouldn't be to hard to include him like they do in other games. As long as it has multiplayer it can have co op missions
ishouldntbehere
Please show me where it says "most of the missions involve Niko and Roman." Sounds like you're assuming that, to me.

badjab
like i said before, the second player, should be able to choose a ped or a friend of niko or romans during story mode co-op, smeone who wouldnt interfere with the story.
