People are drooling so much for information, they need to come up with their own. . . If Rockstar only released 30% of all the info, they should at least give out a 10% more. It's good marketing, just think we are all talking about the game we are getting all hyped up for the game. Rockstar are playing with our emotions and they know what they are doing, after all it looks like working it is more effective than any bill board could be. Just think it could be like those who are making Alan Wake nothing is mentioned other than "it's ready when it's ready" what sort of answer is that? I'm sure there are some people more excited than me but boy I'm I looking farward to this game cos if this can't knock Vice City of its 'Number 1 spot' then nothing will. Second of all, R* does not want to release a lot of information on the game before it's out because they want the gamer to explore it themselves. And i doubt that they even gave us 30 percent of the game. The lack of info is kind of crazy with this one compared to the others. We have only seen a small part of Broker. And a quick glimpse of Alonquin. Before i was ok, with waiting, but i am starting to get a little annoyed. They had to have only given us about 10-15% of the game. Rockstar giving us straps of information, this is Rockstar's style, except this time you could say that they are being more quiet on a Grand Theft Auto game than ever before. I wish they would announce the release date and I have a feeling TakeTwo know it but they are keeping stum, for now. I kind of wish we knew the status of the game like is the Playstation 3 version complete like the XBOX 360 version now? Christ all we can do is wait, wait and wait some more. They released the 3rd trailer (btw, I have NEVER seen a f**** TRAILER hyped before, but I guess there's a 1st time for everything), along with some screens, and they will probably do so again in due time, just like every developer does for every game they develop. I think people around here just gotta chill a second. The game will come. The more they feed us info, the more they feed our impatience, so relax, folks. There are much better ways to spend you time than thinking "ZOMG whn izz dis game gunna b relsd, MAAAAN?!?!?!", so take this time to do other things 'cause you all KNOW that when GTAIV hits y'all won't be doing S*** ELSE but playing GTAIV. Trust me, that does work, but only so much. After 1 month of the 2 months of GTA IV silence, I just left the forums for a rather long time. Nothing to discuss, nothing. Unless we get hit with a sh*tload of new previews in the next 3 months, then we have only seen maybe 10%. I could probably write down all we know about this game in 2 or 3 paragraphs. I just remember back to when i first got SA, and how blown away I was at the time by the greatness of it. Its working so they will keep it up. I'm sure the game is in the testing stage not really anything to complete. I'm also convinced of a late febuary early march release. When people complain about Rockstar not announcing the release date they have to remeber the publisher take 2 are on the verge of bankruptcy advertising campains cost a lot of money so they'll get the fans hyped up by releasing information in dribs and drabs enough to get fans foaming at the mouth a lot of fans on this forum are getting angry at rockstar and they want it that way Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
