Maybe he has maxed out aa, and af on. And some tripple buffering through OpenGL.. Not sure though.

Lovely bus. I find that buses are easy to model and therefor it's more desirable to add details,. which it would appear you did. Great first try. *thumbs up*

Added Mirrors And Glass to windows need to change the glass i bit tho it looks kinda messed in some places atm i am adding in the Wipers in ... Dont Worry Guys i want to See this ingame as much as some of you do to user posted image

Added On The Windshield Wipers

And Smoothing Out The Model Some Because Yeh it is Kinda Blocker than it should be. I Should Have Some More Pics Later Today

Here Is What added or done that you can see

 

Wipers Are visible as Stated Above

Raised Lower Ledge of Side Windows To Correct Hight

Smoothed The Front Area A bit

Starting To Round The body of the Bus As It Should be loook down by wheel wells to see it starting (Did This Before When i had barley a clue what i was doing bu i believe i know how im going to do it now)

looks better but for the sake of everyone can you stop using a lightbox around your model.

 

instead you can place a plane as the ground object and Apply the Matte shadow material type to it

Thx Vinny .... Im Redoing Roof As i Found Some Bugs in it aswell ... after that i will post some updated pics of the bus and its interior

Beginning To Texture ( Man Am I Horrible at this lol) post some pics when i think it looks decent enough for others eyes

Its Going To be Textured in LTC new liverly (http://www.londontransit.ca) if you want to see the colour scheme

i changed the materials to gta_material and it still happens except it says diffuse instead of opacity

DFF iO will automattically create a GTA_Material to the DFFs you export,

I think Kam told me before that the GTA_Material is really there for max

not to cry when you IMPORT things, it applies it, don't quote me on that.

 

The opacity error makes me think of those windows. I know it will start you

pretty much over, but first save a new max file so you backup your old one,

and cover the WHOLE bus with a new blank material, or a texture of some

sort (if you use a tex, go ahead an UVWMap it as a box just for testing) and

try to export. It may be those windows wink.gif
