Plant a bunch of "satchel charges" and blow everyone up or go "rambo" with a mini-gun..how difficult is that? sigh.gif

Rocket Launchers are your friend, simply aim at a densely populated area. Stay away from the heat seekers, you'll find yourself aiming away from vehicles, as that's inevitably where they end up. Unless you want that sort of effect, stick with the Mini Gun or Rocket Launcher.

Aint really a good method confused.gif I was more thinking of a place, where cops keep spawning, so you could use the hunter to keep killimg them.

Try The Strip in Las Venturas. It's nice and flat, quite open and cops have easy access to the road. Whizzing up and down The Strip in the Hunter should do you well.

Why not just hover around one of the police stations then? Trying to get to "King of S.A."? yawn.gif

Hmmm, it does give a lot - but there is a high chance of dying, since im almost touching the ground when firing. It might be good for maybe an hour or so, but then i think the chopper is pretty beaten up confused.gif

Is it possible, like in Vice City, that you can make the criminals on a vigilante spawn in the same area most of the time?

I did experiment with different killing methods in SA (quite a while ago)--

I couldn't find one that compared to the rates I found in VC

The best ones I found

+getting up to 5 stars in San Fierro near the bridge to LV and use the hunter's minigun to take out FBI ranchers-- 4 kills per car-- I don't think I got much over 2000 per hour which is slow by VC standards--

Another method I wrote up I got from a person named integra at GTPlanets GTA section... I improved is slightly... the following is a copy of my post there... it gives between 1700 - 2000 kills per hour

Get on a bike and fire ahead of you at LV pedestrians (there are alot of them) but I didn't drive randomly up and down the strip--- I did a specific route that was pretty simple and relatively safe and I did it on a police bike since it has decent speed and is tough (since cars occasionally crash into you.

I used the SMG (MP5). Available at the 4 dragons casino after collecting horseshoes.

My route was simply laps around the 4 dragons casino-- start of in front heading north on the sidewalk, left at corner and I usually stayed on the left side of the road-- at the corner, cross the street and turn left (heading south now)-- you are now driving under a covered area along this street all the way to the corner--- this keeps most police cars from being able to crash into you and the police heli will lose you and fly off--- turn left at the corner (heading east now) and you are under another covered area--- take this back out toward the strip and then curve around back to front of the casino.

I could do either 2 or 3 laps before I got 5 stars--at this point on the next time I drove infront of the casino I would hop off the bike and save--since this save point is easily accessible and fast (don't have to load an interior)-- unlike VC this clears your stars.

To make it easier (so you can concentrate on driving) I taped down the fire button--- so you can easily move when you get off the bike I selected no weapons before I got on-- this will prevent CJ from firing when he hops off the bike.

The only hazards I encountered were occasionally police vehicles blew up and if I was too close the bike caught fire-- you would have to find another bike. If there isn't one around you are best off grabbing a nearby vehicle and getting back to a save point to save your progress-- reloading seems to make police bikes spawn so you might want to do that to get a new bike.

Occassionally a police bike will get on your tail and keep shooting at you. You would be best to try and lose him or turn around and shoot him.

I did try finding a good place with the rocket launcher-- spawning new victims was always an issue as well as the police heli showing up-- so I mostly tried places where I had overhead cover-- not much luck-- about the best area for random killing was around your safe house in SF (around and inside the train station to lose the heli).

Another random/fun method is vigilante in LV at 5 stars-- easy to navigate, lots of peds on the street, and getting up to 5 stars making the FBI ranchers spawn (4 kills each)-- on vigilante your wanted level rises slower so you can stay at 5 stars longer before getting to 6 stars and having to collect a bribe to get back to 5 stars.

As far as a methodical method-- never really had much luck and all the killing I did in VC kind of soured me on it for SA-- as well as me having a few more kids since then-- (I have 3 boys now 5, 2 1/2, and 1 1/2 and they take up alot of my time....

The train station in Doherty is quite a good location. Police spawn in this area and you are protected by staying inside the building. This is the best area that I have found also. I use Molotov cocktails and a mini gun.

a good place I've found to mow down people is in the north part of San Fierro, under the bridge, the big one that resembles the golden gate bridge on the westernmost part of the island. it's behind jizzy's club. there's a bare space here and a bridge above to protect you from choppers. peds spawn in 3 directions and if you keep turning around they won't stop spawning.

Gonna try the Doherty train station and the spot behind Jizzy's club. Thanks for all the reply's smile.gif

The train station lets you make a quick dash back to the garage when you've had enough

The Doherty train station didnt go to well confused.gif

But the spot at Jizzy's club worked really good. If your standing at the parking lot with the Minigun or maybe a RPG, and look

up and down the road, cars will keep spawning. A helicopter will appear, but if you just shoot it just as it comes, it wont even

get the chance to fire a shot at you. Just keep shooting cars and helicopters till you get to 5 stars. Now, if you look up the

road, a FBI rancher should spawn. As soon as you blow it to hell with your minigun, another one will appear, and then

another one, and so on. If you continue like that, it gives 4 kills and a car destroyed every 2 seconds, and maybe 2 choppers

every min, or something like that.

The problem is that you will grant 6 stars very fast sad.gif Which replaces the ranchers with tanks.

But i was thinking: If the hunters minigun doesn't increase your wanted stars, then maybe you could get to 5 stars,

and then keep on destroying the rancher's for as long as you want? And of course the two choppers, that spawns now and then.

Btw - if the FBI ranchers stop spawning on the north road, just look on the southern part. They should pop up there then.

Go into a police station with lots of bullets and find cover behind something then just recklessly start killing cops you can go for hours because they keep dropping bullets and there is a certain area where body armour spawns every couple of minutes. You should try LV police station because there is a room with a desk in it and if you take cover behind it. the cops just keep coming in

and you can shot them before they have a chance to shoot back

Where exactly should i stand then? When i have cleared a room, only 1-3 cops will spawn after maybe 10 seconds, maybe a little less.

So its a slow method.

I think the purpose of this thread is to find a nice fast methodical way to kill like the ones I found and posted in the VC section.. http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...dpost&p=3106830

not a random method... random killing sprees are fun but unless you can find a way to methodically kill alot, you won't rack up large numbers

To get a good idea of a killing rate you should at least do it for 10 minutes (time yourself) and check your kill stat before and after-- multiply by 6 to get your kill per hour rate.

also, if you are using a kill method for boosting your CR stats you have to make them "legitimate" kills-- meaning you have to have a way to either get to a save point or to a pay n spray.... any kills made since your last save/pay-n-spray will NOT boost your criminal rating until you do... and if you die or get busted, you get NO CR points for the kills-- while the "legitimate" kill stat did not exist in VC, you had to still do the above to get them to count to your CR... they were in the stats somewhere, just not visible-- anyway, that is the reason I posted escape methods with the killing methods...

The best place to kill max amount of people is in front of the Four Dragons Casino doors. You kill all the peds and wait for the cops to turn up first on foot, then on bikes, in cars and vans. Kill all them and shoot down any helicopters that turn up.

Eventually some army tanks will appear but if you keep behind the gold rings outside, they will just crash into them and you are protected. When the soldier in the tank jumps out, kill him and steal the Rhino.

Then do laps around the casino. My route takes you down the main drag on the left hand side running over all the peds. Turn right when you get to the Emerald. Then first left and take first right past the police station. At the end of that road is a railway track and an alley to the right of a multi-storey carpark. Turn left into the alley and collect your star to reduce your wanted level. At end of alley and on freeway, do a 180 and return up alley. Take return road past police station again but take a right turn before you get to it. Take first right and at end drive through island gardens on main drag. Turn left. You should now be on main drag facing the way you came. Continue on main drag on right hand side running over more peds. If wanted level too high, veer over to left side of road at Sphynx Casino (under the needle tower) and collect another wanted star before veering back to the right. Take next right after Four Dragons Casino and follow to end. At end turn left into carpark behind shops where there is another wanted star. Crash through fence onto main highway and turn left. Left once again brings you back onto main drag again and continue lapping. There are four wanted stars on this route so you should be able to carry on killing indefinitely. When you want to save just drive through all the stars until your wanted level is down to a position that you can deal with and drive back to your home and save. Tou should get to kill 100 peds with each pass. It's not as good as the tank stealing zone in Vice City but immense fun all the same.
