Girish
Try lowering your display settings. Turn off anti-aliasing and reduce draw distance. Edit: Do you have any mods installed? Ring_of_Fire
I think your hard drive is bottlenecking your entire system. You might need to upgrade your hard drive to a WD Raptor X 10000RPM SATA hard drive for this reason. Try to close down non-essential and running processing in the taskbar and in the system tray. Disable things like automatic-updating/scanning from your virus, firewall, and spyware programs. Defragmenting is an excellent idea as well. Hello, i have a big problem in my Gta San Andreas. Sometimes when I play it in some areas it becomes like slowmotions It happens to me as well and seeing as though you have a powerful system with 2GB of RAM, dual core CPU, and a GeForce 8 graphics card - it's probably your hard drive. Hard drive recommendation - buy a 7200RPM hard drive with 16/32MB cache and SATA 3.0Gbps data transfer rate if you are not planning to go with a 10000RPM hard drive (I highly recommend it, though). Ring_of_Fire
I think it is how the game's engine was created. If you take a look at a game like 18 Wheels of Steel: Convoy, it iwas almost impossible to run that game smoothly no matter what system you have. What could be a factor possibly is the CPU acting up when the game is giving the system a lot of work. I am thinking that it could be the amount of video memory that's on your graphics card (giving the hard drive stress in return). Try downloading the AMD Optimizer and the processor driver to see if it helps: 1. http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_ty...ities/Setup.exe 2. http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_ty...ities/setup.zip maybe it is because my san andreas is downloaded by torrent. lol Wait guy, are you sure it couldn't probably be a graphic problem? Download Fraps and tell me exactly WHERE you get the lag and HOW the scenery looks like. I think the CPU and GPU are perhaps struggling to render it properly. Also, ask yourself this question: what happens if I stay still without moving fast in a car? Also, what if I just look right down to the ground? I noticed that I always get lag in Los Santos in some areas, even during cutscenes. I realized that the lag comes when it is either dawn or dusk, and not when it is actually very bright or very dark. I rarely get lag even when it is foggy.
