Weapons make up a large part of GTA, the weapons back then weren't nearly as cool as the weapons today. 2. The cars are crap. 3. The boats are crap. 4. JamesEarlCash Posted December 22, 2007 Share Posted December 22, 2007 I'd rather it be set in London, 1969 or another 80's Vice City because they didn't even have car radios back then, I don't think 90's percent of fans would get any of the cultural reference points. I can think of a dozen better more engaging scenarios but I personally don't think they will release a follow up title for years due to being tied up with these two episode packs, thanks a bunch Microsoft . Especially associated with the gangster scene. I mean it's not rock or hip-hop if that's what you want... but there's a lot really cool jazz stuff that really fits the mood, and its sampled constantly in modern east coast hip-hop. They like their humour. I still hope they stick to their fictional locations, instead of going for realistic, accurate locations. If you go for 1930's chicago, you have to capture that feeling of 'depression' with that whole "Godfather" feeling. It might be nice to see them step outside the US, but chances are they would go so over the top with 'humour', they would ruin it.. (Like Family Guy does with the British.. I'm British, and it doesn't offend me, but it's just so ridiculous I can't even force myself to watch it.)
