Weapons make up a large part of GTA, the weapons back then weren't nearly as cool as the weapons today. 2. The cars are crap. 3. The boats are crap. 4. Now, something like the late '60s or '70s interests me, or maybe even another GTA set in the '80s, but with all of the upgraded goodies that GTA IV is bringing to the table. Mafioso86 Posted December 22, 2007 Share Posted December 22, 2007 nah... i'd definitely play a 1930s new york or chicago gangster game (especially if it was made by R*), but I would want it to be something seperate from GTA... unless it was just like a little side project like the stories games. Now a more contemporary Chi-Town would be cool. There are tons of gangs that are originally from Chicago; Black P. Stones, Black Gangster Disciples, Latin Kings, Vicelords, as well as the whole Peoples and Folks alliances. Still overall it felt really dry and corny to me... I have the PS2 version tho, and I know someone told me the original version for PC was significantly better. On another topic... in regards to this already being done, they had true crime la out before SA, and the last true crime was based in NY, just like gtaiv. But I want Vice City next, I want that 80s feeling, I want to walk down the beach and almost feel the warmth of the sun. I want to steal a nice sports car and cruise down Ocean Drive. Jabalous Posted December 22, 2007 Share Posted December 22, 2007 No , I hope all Next GTA to be in the new years " after 2000 unitl the current time " , If the series got back to the past , the colours and buildings and cars will be boring and make you always , even there won't be many things we can do , for example : - there won't be mobile and mini games or ATM Devices .... etc . There are " LA Noire & The Godfather 2 & Mafia 2 " , all these games will take place in the past and it's coming on the new generation devices except " LA Noire " it will release only on PS3 .
