Slamman Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 I guess my idea doesn't fit the topic, but I am thinking in terms of breaking away from past GTAs and I do feel that if realism plays a big part, it will feel like a new concept built around th e old premise. I don't think it will move out side the USA as quickly as the followup to 4. My guess is likely another GTA for PSP before following up with GTA5, so to speak. The idea of SA coming to the PSP is what I wanted all along but the PSP processing is akin to 300Mhz Pentium MMX, as an example of it's CPU speed, basing the game off UMD it can only hold so much. I was initially happy with GTA on PSP but I think Warriors turned out better in terms of game design on that system. Some of the new games for PSP really show it can expand still. MINNESOTA That being said, everyone wants their town in a videogame I dare say, but I seem to recall someone who didn't feel that way. I think your topic doesn't have to be specific to a setting. BobbyUK Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 anyone whos seen chooper or romper stomper would automatically understand why it would just work as a gta environment, dont get me wrong i love new york and it will be awesome but you have to keep it fresh, the settings before have worked by using very blatant cliches such as the obvious boyz in the hood parallels in sa but it needs a totally fresh start, boston and chicago would feel like to much of an extension of liberty city and want have you got left, keep repeating the same citys with new tech, seems a little narrow minded, australia, britain, japan are all good choices, a good story will always be a good story regardless of setting Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
