mustang84 Posted December 22, 2007 Share Posted December 22, 2007 Hi, I recently downloaded the Wheel Deal mod and have been trying to install it using the IMG tool. I've installed other mods before successfully with the IMG tool, but I've only had to edit the gta3.img file. For the wheel mod, after editing gta3.img it says to edit veh_mods.ide, but my version of the IMG Tool (V2) does not open anything other than .img files, so I can't open the .ide file to edit it. Is there some other mod needed other than the IMG tool to edit other file types such as .dat and .ide? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Algonquin Posted November 25, 2009 Share Posted November 25, 2009 how do you use notepad to edit this .ide file? i changed what i needed to change on the lines and did everything the read me told me to do correctly. but i dont know how to save. am i supposed to click save? because when i try it wont let me.
