You should try out adding Normalmaps to it. edit: saw the other page: you don't need a empty normal map if you don't want anything to go around your model. i mean, you can apply your own normalmap on your version. simply set as specmap the normalmap and put it in the TXD. export as vehicle part... I guess that was the way I did it, but no idea.... well... in the other version, as in this latest beta normals are made on the fly.
