Mass Effect.

One of the best storylines I've ever seen, looks beautiful, and fun combat. I loved it from start to finish.

I second this statement. Exactly what TEoS said, it had an amazing storyline coupled with epic gameplay.

I vote Assassin's creed biggest let down of the year. icon13.gif

original gangster

If I had it yet, chances are Mass Effect would have my vote. But I don't, so my vote goes to BioShock.

Btw, you should make it clear with Gears of War that you're talking about the PC version.

Bioshock or Mass Effect. Halo doesn't even come near both of them.

We should get someone to poll this bitch as well.

Call of Duty 4.

Mass Effect is fantastic and a new standard in its genre, but CoD4's balanced excellence and extremely solid multiplayer gives it the nod from me. I can't let the finest console shooter to date pass me by without giving it the GOTY.

I don't know why people are creaming them-selfs over CoD4. But it's your opinion icon14.gif

Though to call the mutliplayer "balanced" lol.gif

HOLD UP

Does that say Kane & Lunch?

No, sarcasm.gifmoto_whistle.gif

I'm giving my vote to God Of War 2 - truly the last ps2 masterpiece.

Why isnt this a poll yet?

Ye mods! you arent supposed to have a life, you are supposed to be on teh forum 24/7! cry.gif

Anyway lets get serious, best game of 2007 is NOT Crysis, mainly because it was too anticipated. It was fun though, but the ending was very dissapointing and all the people who upgraded the pc feel ripped off.

So the best game of 2007 is COD4.

Although there's some great games in that list i think it has to be Call of Duty 4 for me with The Orange Box in a close second.
