gtamodder
I have just bought a new PC, And it has Windows Vista for OS. The problem is, when i'm playing, the game may stop, and continue and it is very annoying. I have tryed reinstalling the game, downloading best drivers, windows 98 compatibilty mode, and made no difference. My system specs are 1 Gig of RAM Nvidia Geforce 8500 GT (496MB) Direct X 10 Genuine Intel ® CPU 1.60GHZ I bought San Andreas, and no matter what setting i use, it still happens. Even happens with GTAIII And Vice City Not even downloading the best Nvidia drivers does it, i even restarted computer after it and deleted the .set file. I am running out of ideas which could cause this, is there anything wrong with my system specs? I have no mods installed too. gtamodder
SA doesn't support DX10 I think. Vista supports SA for sure but DX10?Ah, and the processor too! Vista with that? Is the processor bad? If so what would be best to get if you know?

VCHolmes
Read RoF's Vista guide : http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...dpost&p=4537502 Also, try running the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode. I've come across some threads where the problem was solved this way.
