Simseth Posted December 14, 2007 Share Posted December 14, 2007 Okay, so I think GTA might have you start out where ever Niko came from, but in a very limited area, and all you do is learn the driving controls, and you drive to the airport. You aren't free at all, really. (That's sort of the serious part, now it gets wild.) Now it turns into a cinematic and you get on the plane, and some how get a pistol on the plane. Once you get on, the plane, which evidentally is not going to new york, so you decide to hi-jack it. You can't fly it, just a cinematic. And when you hi-jack it, this is the cinematic - it shows Niko, he pull's out the pistol and than it introduces the shooting mechanics letting you play, you learn autoaim by shooting the pilot's head, and then auto-aim by shooting the co-pilots head. Now it goes back to cinematic, he starts flying it, than it cuts to LC, the airport that will be in the game, he doesn't know how to land, so instead of landing, he jumps out with a parachute and lands, and than your on the ground and Roman picks you up once you walk outside the terminals. The plane crashes into a bridge, therefore making it so you cannot cross it, and it must be repaired. So you cannot ponyfarm the whole city just yet. GTA3Freak-2001 Posted December 14, 2007 Share Posted December 14, 2007 I don't think a plane hijacking scene would go down well with people for obvious reasons and honestly I don't think we need to see Niko's actions before ending up in Liberty City. It adds mystery and intrigue to Niko's character when all we know is that he's smuggled himself on a cargo ship from a foreign country where's he's done things he's not proud of such as kill and whatnot. Actually truthfully, I think you're going to start out on the ship, and you fight and it introduces the shooting mechanics. The move from past GTAs and this one are improved but not World's apart. In SanAn you had to kill off the airplane crew and fly back to LV airport, that mission had blatant gun fire and on a small learjet, no doubt!! No reality there, but when you have to complete Toreno's missions by riding a bike up another plane at the abandoned air strip, for that, you are fighting by hand only. I think that was largely due to the explosive barrels but more realistic nonetheless. You interpret my posts to seem childish, and I called you a hypocrite, because after reading some of your posts, you acted quite childish too. How about that last topic, you kept mentioning "They're just rims!" like a little brat interuppting our discussion of car aging and you also kept mentioning it's just a video game. Just so you know, this is a GTA forum. You obviously don't read the posts, hence why your responses suck. There is no need for ultra-serious topics, as the game doesn't even have a release date.
