Yeah Im still working on it, I want to get them done though so I can get back to the sentinel. Anyway, heres some stripe designs Im thinking about adding to the regular stallion

I think you could do the third one, it would go well with the Sabre Turbo!

Well the Sabre Turbo isn't normally in GTA 3, but the HD cars work also in Vice City great, to be honest a bit better, because it uses a realistic reflection.

It is possible to make it go into GTAIII without replacing any cars. I did it, and yes, I know that the Sabre Turbo was introduced in GTAVC.

Yes, 1TUFSS is already working on that if he hasnt completed it already, he posted screenshots of it in GTAIII as a brand new addition without replacing any cars.

 

 

Got pics of the Sabre! Finally 

 

Most of these colours are custom ones I mixed up - some of them will also appear on the Z-Type. They draw upon inspiration from the 70s muscle-car scene... too bad that GTA3 allows only 8 colour-combos per vehicle. Sod.

I think the version without any stripes would be the best. Just like in normal GTA III.

For me fourth looks best. Third is also nice but Banshee and Sabre Turbo have the same stripe design already.

But to be honest, Stallion looks strange with any stripes - but that's no problem 'cause editing carcols.dat is easy

Ive been testing the stallion and I cant get the stripes to completely disappear even when both paint job colors are the same, I might have to drop the idea, at least until gta4 modding is possible.

Maybe it's because the Sabre didn't have a bodymap.

OP, seems you f*cked up with reflection's settings, if one is set as env:50 and other - env:14, then you have no possiblities to change it, only if you don't do from beggining.

Well, not so perfectly. If you look closer you can see remainings of stripes.

Those aren't my refs.

 

And those are creases in the bodywork, not discoloured stripes.

I've exported them from GTAIII and imported them to VC - but they don't work with many cars as VC uses different way to create reflections.

hey automan,you have been making great hd cars...i have one question, will you make the Echo?(normal version of taxi and police)i think that this car should bee added to the game on a free slot (just like sabre and -type), and should not be so hard for you to do becouse you just need to remove the taxi decals and signal (i cant do it myself )...

I meant OnePiece (i was reading automan's forum before) ,OnePiece made the police and the the taxi in HD so I was thinking if was possible to him to make the normal version of them(that shoud not take too long becouse the car itself is already done, it just need editing

In fact it's so easy to make that I've made it by myself. I can release it but I must ask OP for permission first.

OnePiece, my connection was out, but I had yet another proposition for the Banshee.

 

Too keep it's IV design trait, and also, to relate them somehow, it'd be awesome if the reverse light and the indicators should be a centered line in between two red ones.

Modeling is pretty much done except for the interior, the whole chassis is modeled and is looking pretty good. Ive also changed the hood ornament to be a mix of the old one and the ubermacht logo.

I really like the front grille. Do not change it.

I'm really liking the Sentinel, maybe the Mafia/XS version could be modeled after this?
