I'm having so much trouble with these cars in GTAIII, can anyone upload a gta3.img and txd.img with only these cars  on? I've tried to install  it on every way, but no. something crashes, when I fix that, another thing crashes, so can anyone upload his files? (gta3.img plus txd.img)

I dont think someone is stupid enough to upload some hundreds MB gta3.img for you.

You have done something wrong with installing the cars or you

did something wrong with data lines.

I am uploading 100's MB for a peasant? Come on.

that's how I installed these cars,

I went to the GTA3 directory, opened gta3.img with IMGTOOL, deleted the files which I need to replace, then added the new files, rebuilded the archive, then replaced the updates and for final, I delete the txd.img and the game is creating a new one.

I was modding only GTA SA before, that is the first time I try to mod GTA 3, what have I done wrong?

Use GGMM from GtaGarage.com, it's easier to mod.

How to install these mods without failure.

 

Open gta3.img with imgtool 2.0.

 

Find the matching dff and txd you wish to replace.

 

Extract the dff and txd for backing up purposes.

 

Delete the dff and txd from the gta3.img

 

Import your new dff and txd, making sure they are named the same as the dff and txd you deleted.

 

Run the game to test if it worked.

Repeat this process until you have every car installed. Thank you.

Well I did that, exactly.

 

The models were okay, just the colors were bugged and there was a white interior to each car, I have replaced the updates, I checked the game, and the game crashed once a car spawned (any car) then I heard that I have to delete the txd.img and the game will recreate it, the game tried to recreate it, then once it did my game crashed (still on the loading screen).

That means you've used the wrong TXD with the DFF, it's the only explanation.

 

Open the txd with txdworkshop and make sure it matches the dff.

 

EDIT:

 

Hold on, make sure you only have the gta3.img in your model folder, if you also have one called vehicles.img then open that and replace the txd in there with the new one, in some rare cases, gta has broken up the gta3.img into 2 img's

I don't know why people are having so much trouble with these. I just dump all the files in gta3.img and txd.img. I don't bother deleting the originals (G-IMG does this for me) and I dont bother rebuilding the archive. Ive never had a problem with this. I really hope for the final pack I can work with someone to make an auto installer.

It's so f*cking beutiful!! Best car from you so far!! I really like that the wheels are so close to the chassis, and the headlights, it gives the car really cool "angry" look. Can't wait til I can install it

It's a box on wheels... but it's awesome. Detailing and textures really bring it out. Whoever said it looked a bit like a Ford; yes, it looks kinda like a Fox body Mustang.
