hi guys, is there a quick way of installing these mods for san andreas. as installing them using sami takes ages because you have to install them one by one

I use IMG Manager put all .dff & .txd to one folder then use "Bulk Replace" Ctrl+B

But with this method you lose all the custom handling and the wheels stick through the ground and stuff. If were talking about SA of course.

handling.cfg, vehicles.ide, carcols.dat and others edit manually with notepad

I used to use Alci's IMG Tool for every .dff and .txd , untill sudently i noticed when i used it, the some buildings on Liberty City (SA one, wich is enterable in most multiplayer servers) dissapeared / appeared as "black spikes".

So now i have to stick with GGMM for vehicles and Img Tool for other mods such as weapons.

Every so often, like if I'm installing a load of cars or something, I'll use IMG tool to rebuild the archive.

And because of this, despite my vista disadvantage, I'm still rebuilding in like half a minute

So that's why my Vice City always crashed!

 

Anyway, it's impressive how good the cars look in GTAIII's engine. Strangely, they look better in GTAIII's engine then in GTASA's engine for me

Some last shots before I do some final modeling and put on the texture.

 

Ive made the chassis more realistic and added more detail to the door frames than on previous cars, its looking pretty good so far. The exhaust poking through the body will be fixed, don't worry.

 

 

And heres the body alone with all other parts stripped off.

It looks nice, but it's not my favourite. Maybe it's a bit too boxy, and the rear lights should be bigger, or I dunno.

Looking good, i think this will come out a great model, by the way one thing, try make the nos bottle appear on the trunk, i have noticed in mods like Kuruma and Esperanto for SA that the NOS bottle pops out the rear windshield. Keep this in mind.

Ofcourse not, since GTA IV uses a lot more advanced vehicle handling and is very different from the simple GTA 3 Handling...

not really, Im coming close to the end of it right now, most of the cars left are the boring ones. the Landstalker and Perennial are pretty interesting I guess but I want to save them for last.

and what about.. if you would remake some GTASA cars? imo Sultan is one of the best GTA cars, and its tunable also... would be very interesting to see a version, that is remade by you.

ONLY the GTA VC and GTA 3 Perennial... Every other "modern" Perennial sucks, is ugly , and can go to hell. (GTA LCS , VCS , GTA IV.)

 

 

btw, OnePiece , Where can I get these cars for San Andreas ? (Manana , Perennial , Landstalker , Kuruma, Idaho) ?

I would like to do another VC car before I finish this epic journey, Probably the pheonix. Although I do prefer the look of the real firebird.

 

@ up there ^ you can get the kuruma and idaho for SA in pack 1, the rest havnt even been made yet.

I love Phoenix, i think a HD version of it would be epic! Too bad you won't be making more cars after this "last" one.... i really enjoy your mods, they are Multiplayer-friendly

Sounds cool for me too, the Phoenix is a nice ride. I'd prefer the Infernus or Oceanic or Voodoo everyday but I guess it isn't up to me to decide Anyways, I'm sure you'll make another awesome mod.

I'm having so much trouble with these cars in GTAIII, can anyone upload a gta3.img and txd.img with only these cars on? I've tried to install it on every way, but no. something crashes, when I fix that, another thing crashes, so can anyone upload his files? (gta3.img plus txd.img)
