Try it without CLEO. And don't change the DeeZire's EXE.

Tried that too, on a clean SA install -> then TTDISA -> then your patch. Doesn't seem to work

Tried it again copule of times, and it works. Dunno what I did wrong before, because I did it the same over again untill it worked.

Anyway, a wonderful mod, Thank you!

Greetings JJ_Judge.Follow my steps precisely and hopefully it will work

1.Run the Gta san andreas installer on windows xp,sp2 compability mode(if windows 7)

2.After the installation, uncheck the read only on gta san andreas>right click on gta san andreas(directory-folder location), propreties,uncheck read only(NO READ ONLY)<<<important step

3.Run TTDISA in compability with windows vista sp1(if windows 7)

4.Install SilentPL unofficial fix(only replace)

5.Run gta san andreas.exe on xp.sp2(note that i skipped this step and it works but try it if it doesn't work)\

Report me back if anything went wrong

I did all what you told but it still did not worked.

When I start a new game the progress bar when reaches to half way the game crashes.

Any idea what can I do ?

As far as I can remember, it crashed on the half of the progress bar (NOT the full bar, but half - that's important). when I tried to use TTDISA with the patch simultaneusly with the LOD-mod (from SRt3 by BLITZ). Are you sure you don't have any more mods installed?

Yeh I m sure there is no mods installed it's a clean installation of sanandreas.

If you've definetely checked the compatability boxes and unchecked the "Read Only" boxes, are you sure the exe is 1.0 US? And btw have in mind that 1.0 cracked no-DVD exe won't work (don't worry, use the 1.0 US exe, the installer will make a compact 5 MB big exe, that won't require the disk no more). I can't provide you with links though, it's against the rules.

DeeZire abandoned the mod and the forums for some unknown reason, but there is a patch (currently version 1.2) by Silent_PL, that, using CLEO, finishes the mod and gets rid of most bugs, so actually no, it's not abandoned, I'd say it's finished.

1) Not all bugs from this list has been fixed only major ones & something more (see below)

Uhm, I'm using CLEO-mods (CLEO v4), works fine

 

About the crashes - really, make a backup of SA, and then _carefully_ follow the readme, install the mod, then again the readme, install the patch by Silent_PL. The check if it works. If it doesn't - delete all the files and recover from your backup, repeat for a few times. That's strange, but that's how I got it working.

Oh, and, keep in mind (I really "had fun with it", until I got the point), this mod does not work with the LOD-mod supplied with the SRt3-mod by BLITZ, and it does not work with any other .exe's other that the 1.0 US original (it will be patched by the installer).

Uhm, I'm using CLEO-mods (CLEO v4), works fine

Some CLEO mods like "Full Nitro Control" are incompatible with TTDISA's exe.

Not only with this EXE. It crashes on compact EXE too, which TTDISA exe is based on. Reported that to Wesser already.

It's a good idea to rebuild all the archives manually after the installation too.

I will make an explanation but please try doing it precisely

1.Insert Gta san andreas CD

2.Right click on gta sa-part 1 install and properties.Select compability the second tab and put windows xp sp2 AND administrator(administrator in first tab).

3.Double click on gta sa-part1 and select browse and the installations must be in program files not program files (x86)! if the old one was in program files then install it in program files (x86) because you need a really new gta san andreas trust me.

4.Click ok

5.When the installation process is finished,right click on gta san andreas directory(the one in program files or program files x86),propreties,and UNCHECK READ ONLY(NO READ ONLY)<<<<---IMPORTANT STEP

6.Right click on TTDISA and press properties , compability,and windows vista SP1 and Administrator ! and press ok

7.Double click on the mod and select you're gta san andreas directory (the one in program files or program files (x86) you've just installed

8.Run gta san andreas.exe (the one in the directory)on compability with windows xp SP2 just like step 2 (NOTE:i skipped this stepped and gta san andreas worked fine.NOTE 2:If you install mods to gta san andreas they may not appear in the game if you used step 8)

ADVICE:Don't install any mods unless you skipped step 8 and gtasanandreas worked properly

Btw i have found a sad problem with the mod...i was going to try rusty brown ring donugt chop but there was no marker to enter the place at SF and LV 2 I hope someone can fix that ..maybe silentPL ?

Yeah btw I didn't have a marker at the Donut shop too, and thought of it just now while reading your post, didn't mind about it before

DeeZire pointed it out a while ago, he decided to remove them and instead add donuts as desserts in the other restaurants. A feature, not a bug.

Great that you continue working... I hope the game won't crash during the last mission. And it will be new cutscenes.
