I have a warez version.I can guarantee that the filesize of each file is the same with the original and have the same versions.If the mod checks that I have a DVD of SA then I wont pass the test and wont be able to install.I will, however buy the game for this mod.

Still ironing out the save/load bug, as has been said its very difficult to eliminate.

 

I could shut the whiners up and release it now but then this thread would instantly double in size with posts from those whiners complaining that save games dont work - there's no pleasing some people!

 

As soon as I get rid of the bug I will release it, it will be worth the wait for those following the features list. If you have played BETA4/5 then here's whats new since that (very buggy) release (hence BETA) to prove I have still been working on finishing it;-

 

 

- Fixed a glitch in the 'Vigilante' sub-mission where Police Station radar icons would stay on the map after the mission ended. Also fixed bugs in the mission which could potentially cause the game to crash and not give the correct on screen text for suspects- The Windsor car now only appears in affluent areas again and the Pizzaboy should now only be driven by pizza delivery boys- Fixed bugs in the Bike Rampage where the radar was disabled and that prevented you leaving the bike if it sank in water- Fixed bug which could cause the game to crash when the Sadler was modified with certain components- Finalised the code which ensures the correct biker cops appear in the relevant cities - this now works perfectly and also ensures the desert cops appear instead of country cops when you are in desert locations too as well as fixing an issue that could ocassionally cause the game to hang- Tweaks to face plant code to ensure the correct text appears when you land in water- Added night vertex colour fixes to numerous objects in the game as well as some visual particle effects and improvements to some others- When you have completed the 'High Stakes Low Rider' mission, Cesar will no longer call you until you have left the area and he has gone home- In the 'Los Sepulcros' mission, Kane is now the Ballas gang member as seen in 'The Introduction' video- In the 'Home Coming' mission, Sweets appearance is now different - he now appears as he was seen in early screenshots and previews of the game- More characters added to 'Free Roam' (some are unlocked as you progress into the storyline or attain 100% game completion)- Final additions and tweaks to the clothing in the game - every possible item of clothing that is in the game files or has been released publicly by Rockstar is now included and available in the game- The Enforcer (SWAT van) no longer says LSPD on the back regardless of where you are in San Andreas - it now correctly says SAPD- The 'Taxi Driver' side mission now works more like the updated Vice City Stories version - as well as the usual picking up and dropping off of fares, your passenger may now also ask you to follow a vehicle instead. The 'Passengers dropped off' stat has been changed to 'Passenger fares collected' as it now also includes fares collected from bus and coach passengers too- In the 'Tagging Up Turf' mission, Big Smoke now wears his basketball jersey as seen in early previews and screenshots of the game- Fixed bug where you did not get the discount deducted for pizza purchases when you had completed the Pizza Boy sub-mission even though the prices were displayed correctly- Typo fix - the model cars on display in Zero's RC Shop are now correctly displayed as the 'Turismo'- The exterior decorations and objects that were missing from outside the Four Dragons Casino as well as the car park signs for The Visage have been restored to match the PS2 version. In addition, the typo on the Four Dragons sign has been fixed- The radar dishes in the airports now rotate like they did in Vice City- Added the 'Cone Crazy' mission as seen in Vice City. Find a Stallion parked at The Visage in Las Venturas to trigger the mission. You do not have to complete this in order to get 100% game completion however it does provide a useful way to earn money whilst improving your driving skill. The mission works exactly as it did in Vice City and provides you with increasing cash bonuses for beating your own time record- Added the 'fare bonus' feature as seen in Vice City. If you are driving a Bus or Coach and stop to let a passenger get on board you will get a $5 bonus for each passenger you collect. Each passenger you collect in this manner will also increase your 'Passenger fares collected' stat- In the 'Los Desperados' mission Sunny, Hazer and Gal now appear as the Varrios Los Aztecas did in early previews and screenshots of the game- Fixed an issue on a number of staircases where CJ moved as if he was walking uphill rather than on stairs- You now need a degree of Bike Skill before you can take part in the NRG-500 Challenge. The game bug which meant your new best times in the BMX Challenge and NRG-500 Challenge were not recorded in your stats when you had completed any of these challenges once has also been fixed - you are now able to correctly update those stats by getting better times- Fixed bug in 'Car Salesman' mission which meant your 'Mission attempts' stat was not increased every time you tried it- Fixed game bug where there was no police announcement when you attained a wanted level in the Queens area of San Fierro- Fixes to a number of boats - the radars on the Tropic and Predator now rotate like they should, the Speeder may now appear in different variants as it should, the Marquis rudder now works properly and the propellers on the Squalo now spin correctly plus it may now also appear with the rear spoiler as it did in Vice City- Fixed the missing Slamvan hood ornaments - these can now be purchased at Loco Low Co- Fixed bug where the DJ kept spawning when you left and re-entered the nightclub- Fixed game bug where categories are generated & displayed in wrong order on stats.html page- Fixed game bug in Los Santos - the Temple area is no longer announced as Sunnyside on police radios- Fixed Predator (police boat) radio - it now has a police radio instead of radio stations- Fixed and improved a number of audio issues with some vehicles- You can no longer do the 'Burglar' side missions until you have completed the 'Home Invasion' mission for Ryder- Added the Rio boat as seen in Vice City and Vice City Stories- The lighthouse on Santa Maria Beach now works as it was intended- In the 'Drive-thru' mission, Smoke and Sweet no longer mysteriously change seating positions in the car after the cutscene- Changed the 'Last dance score' stat so it is now 'Best dance score'. This means you can compete against your best score rather than simply viewing your last score- Fixed lighting problem in one of the cutscenes in the 'Beat Down On B-Dup' mission- Fixed game bug where the one of the Country Rifle pickups appeared in a place where it was impossible to collect- The Flatbed and Burrito may now appear in more variants as they did in Vice City- Fixed game bug where a Police Bribe pickup was incorrectly positioned - it now correctly appears over the broken bridge in Palomino Creek- Fixed game bug where the Come-A-Lot sign in Las Venturas vanished at night- Fixed game bug where the Buffalo car only had two types of nitrous listed when you took it into the mod garages (the same one is normally listed twice)- You can now quit girlfriend 'Free Roams' in the same way you can quit the others- Corrected zoning in San Fierro, the west-side beach zone is now known as Sunnyside rather than being part of Ocean Flats- Your 'Food Budget' stat is now increased when you buy snacks from street vendors or burger vans plus you can no longer buy anything from them if the vendor is dead or you attack him- Fixed bug in the 'Beefy Baron' side mission where the RC Baron started in a weird position- In the 'Lifes A Beach' mission the score needed when dancing to gain access to the van now varies depending on your 'Best dance score' stat so the mission is always something of a challenge- Fixed bug in the 'SlashTV' mission where you would restart in Montgomery instead of San Fierro if you got wasted- Fixed game bugs in animation files that resulted in visual corruption of some ped models when they were performing certain animations such as fighting or riding some vehicles- Fixed game bug where door was missing/glitched on a safe house on Las Venturas- Added the 'Stunt Boat Challenge' mission as seen in Vice City. You start this time challenge by entering a Speeder boat parked near Las Venturas and must complete the course within the time limit for cash rewards. Note that the boat will not appear and this mission will not be available until you have completed the 'Boat School' mission- Added the missing (original) 'Doberman' mission. This is now the second CRASH mission in Los Santos and since this is a storyline mission it must be completed in order to progress through the game and thus gain 100% completion. You are required to break up a drugs bust and prevent one of Tenpenny's assets  (Poncho) being taken into custody and exposing Tenpenny's wrongdoings to Officer Carver- Fixed bug in the 'Bloodring Race' mission where cars would sometimes explode randomly making the race much easier than intended- In the 'Sweets Girl' mission the Seville Boulevard gang members now have their own unique actor model- Fixed game glitch where the Ballas gang no longer treated you as an enemy when you entered their territories after completing or quitting certain side-missions (this is most notable with the 'Pimping' side-mission)- Catalina's car that appears at Fern Ridge now appears in random colours again to reflect its frequent use at Pay N Spray- Fixed game bug in the 'Bike School' mission that meant you could not get all 3 reward vehicles to spawn at the same time under certain circumstances regardless of how you performed - rewards now work like the other vehicle school missions so it is now possible to attain all 3 at the same time- CJ will now make appropriate comments when performing stealth kills with the knife or when throwing a grenade/molotov/CS gas (these comments are in the game but not used)- Changed rewards for completion of stadium events - you now need to complete both bike events in the Las Venturas stadium to earn the BF Injection. You now earn the Dunerider by completing all three of the Karmaggedon/Crush!/Rush! side-missions- The San Fierro police car is now a unique model rather than being the same as the Los Santos one (the model used is presumed to be the correct one as it has been converted from a cutscene version that was never used in the game)- Trains will now use both sides of the tracks (the game normally only puts trains on one side) and thus they may now pass each other at random. In addition, trains will no make use of some track lines which were otherwise unused in the game and may appear in different varieties that would otherwise not be seen in the game- Fixed game bug where a Diner in Fort Carson was unavailable and would not show up when taking a girl on a date- Removed the Cartel Cruiser converted from GTAIII and replaced it with a new reward vehicle for completing the 'Taxi Driver' sub-mission (now like all previous GTA games, San Andreas provides you with a reward vehicle for completing them)- Fixed game bug where the exterior textures for the Driving School in San Fierro vanished between 23.00pm and midnight- Fixed game bug where a Vortex that spawned in the game was impossible to obtain

one last request, could you enable the polices use of the coastguard boat or the launch (i don't remember now which of them is the unused, but the one with the minigun attached to its back)

Hi Bullet Chris... i think i know your problem... you "Fixed" the sami archive... you dont need to do that... i made that mistake 2. ok ill tell you what i did..

 

1. download and unpack the TTDISA beta 4

2. there is a beta 5 on this page that wasnt excectly easy to find. download and unpack it.

3. now take the beta 5 files and use them to replace the ones in beta 4... all of them including the script.

4. now you can click on the sami script and it should work

5. open img tool and rebuild the archive.

 

now you should b set to go...

I registered for this forum just to thank you. I was having the same problem (I fixed the sami script) and uninstall and reinstall all I might, SA kept crashing during loading. I followed your instructions (and did Win98 compatibility) and managed to get a new game to start with the mod. The game still crashed when loading an old game. Right now, I've uninstalled the mod and am rebuilding again. I'm willing to wait until this mod works a little better.

It wont if he uses Pawfect Skin Changer.That advice in the quote was for me, I did that and played using Pawfect S.C. and it worked with no save game bug.

Ye mine didn't work with normal gta_sa.exe but when i tryed it with Pawfect Skin Changer 1.1.exe it worked.

It will because he changed the script. dont argue. it's the most known error there is. The script is changed, even a single change will crahs the game.

 

and he means that it will crash if you load GTA: SA saves not TTDISA saves...

 

You gotta have some more knolage in GTA modding.

Ok Mr.'I'm so much smarter than you', maybe I dont know jack about scripting/coding but I do have knowledge about modding.

My statement was that it worked with that tool and when I said I know modding I wasnt reffering that what I sugested had to do anything with modding.

The method for the beta is:

- download beta 4 and 5 and put them togheter;

- replace each file manually;

- rebuild archive

- use pawfect skin changer to enter game.

 

Notes:

- this mod will not work with original saved - games;

- pawfect skin changer is needed for avoiding the save game glitch.

 

 

 

Tell me if I did something wrong, but this is how I remember it.

There are some files with wrong names, i can't install it with SAMI. Please rename the files fix it please.
