^ That sounds useful but can 1.01 be modded? I heard it could not.

Version 1.01 can be modded in the same way as 1.0 except for Hot Coffee. I used to use a 1.01 NoDVD patch and all mods worked just fine.

It won't work for me bored.gif BETA four or BETA 4 mixed with BETA 5 and it dosen't work just with BETA 5 whatsthat.gif and i've got a clean sa why won't it work? dontgetit.gif

Thanks for the heads-up on NOCD patches. The mod will now ship with inherent NOCD support based on that patched exe smile.gif

 

BUT - it will still do a check for a genuine SA installation first before installing itself, and the downside is the mod will still only support English language.

 

I will look at the airstrip and bike school bugs, hadnt noticed them before as I never get better than bronze LOL. Looking at the code, the bugs should not happen but as I said I will take a look. EDIT: actually I think I found the cause of the Bike School bug and fixed it, it should work fine now like the other school rewards.

How would that work?Even if you have a warez version you still have the original install but you dont have the DVD so you need a crack.How will your installation detect a warez version when it is the same sh*t as the original(before cracking)?

Either check the DVD presence and/or checksum directory contents and verify with registry. There are other ways too wink.gif

i was thinking... is it possible to add races? i mean, there is this truck, "sandking", that should be some kind of award for some desert races tounge.gif maybe maybe related with the "monster" mission by toreno, using that mission's race as the first of the desert races tounge.gif ... just an idea wink.gif

YOu can install the car showroom mod + races, it's very cool and i believe there's a cleo version too so itll work with this mod smile.gif.

suggesttions:

can you make the car wash works like in BETA gta SA?

and when I broke a pole in the road, a Utility Van comes with workes to fix the pole like in the BETA game, and when I kill somebody, the cops comes to investigate and a news van comes to tell what happend like in the BETA game, and make the glasses of houses and other locals with interior be tranparrent to see insibe without needing to get in like in the BETA game?

and do the cops' roadblock has a spike strip (seen in a mission of the garage of san fierro) to make the chases more difficult, and make the CJ can surrender to cops, pressing a button non used by control config, like 9 (nom NUMPAD), and if possible, optimize the A.I. of NPCs, they're too stupids confused.gif thank u smile.gif

I have a clean sa i haven't got nocd crack and OH it dosen't work i installed it by sami, renamed txd to txt and copyed it and renamed it to txd and renamed fronten1 to frontend1, and then it was done then when it was completed, i went into my SA folder copyed fronten1 and pasted it, in to a folder then i renamed frontend1 to fronten1 and it didn't work and then i installed a new sa and installed TTDISA, i started off by dragging data stream and text then i went into models folder and extracted fronten1 hud effectspc effects and txd, then i opened G-IMG then i dragged gta3 files in the gta3 folder whats in models, into the IMG editor then rebuilded archive and then opened gta_int dragged gen_int thingy into the Img editor then rebuilded archive then opened player.img and dragged them files into the IMG editor and rebuilded archive then opened cuts.img in anim then dragged those files into the IMG editor and rebuilded archive then ran gta_sa.exe then clicked start game then clicked new game and it stoped responding at 97.0 % somebody help me please!!! dontgetit.gifdontgetit.gifdontgetit.gifangry.gifangry.gifsad.gifsad.gifconfused.gifconfused.gifcry.gifcry.gifnervous.gifnervous.gifnotify.gifnotify.gifwhatsthat.gifcryani.gif

What do you guys think? I've been working on a new loadscreen for the mod. I thought that it would be kinda neat to have it centered, with space on the sides of the screen. DeeZire, PM me if you wanna use it.

i have a new idea, why dont you make the leviathan chopper be something like this http://egs.byethost9.com/Item.php?Id=14? an actual skycrane, because without the magnet, the leviathan is useless, and that model fits better with the term skycrane and with the hanging magnet

I have an idea, how about if you make a prequel of san andreas like for volume 2 or something. You leave San Andreas after Brian dies and you go to Liberty City and do missions with Joey like in the movie that came with the special edition San Andreas. You then come back to San Andreas after CJ's mother dies like in the beginning if the game.

 

Oh and i have something to point out.

@JoWie the Leviathan in the mnod always has the magnet like it does in the Up Up And Away mission.

 

@DJ Will thats because it IS the Vice City Greenwood. They built SA on the VC engine then updated models as well as the engine itself etc as part of the development cycle.

i have more ideas, why don't you add this features?:

 

private jet - when you pay to fly, a limo is waiting for you in the airport and takes you where you want

upgraded ammu nation - the heavy weapons are buyable there

advanced packer - the cars can get attached to the packer, so they don't fall

hi Deezire i really like your mod but there is one thing, i wish the draw distance could be changed. personally i like the 4x drawdistance mod but it dosnt seem to work with your mod.

if u could do something about that, that would be great... cause at the moment flying is a bit boring. i understand u dont want to change the game specs perhaps, but a version for people with good computers would be great.

 

oh btw i was wondering if it is possible to make a mod where the drugdealer sell u drugs when u say yes instead of no... and when u said yes u would get high.. just an idea i had... anyways great mod!

^ I was thinking about allowing CJ to say 'yes' but it would break the storyline, especially with Sweet. The voices for CJ saying yes to drug dealers are still in the game files.

 

I may yet add increased draw distance by default. Even the PC Im using to develop the mod, the same one I first installed SA on the day it came out, can handle 4x and the machine is 7 years old.

yeah, i get your point... but in one mission where he meets mike terreno, mike takes his wallet and cj says "hey, i think i had a "dub" in that... it seems like he is smokin... just not the "harder drugs". so i think buying weed could b possible.

and gta is all about freedom... it would still be your choice to break out of caracther.

 

im just tryin to pursuade you biggrin.gif

 

i also thougt of one more thing... the old strip must be the best looking street in las venturas but no casinos are open... would be great to see a casino open across to the hotelroom you can buy there.

 

and i got to say its great your thinkin of 4x drawdistance... it would be excellent.
