!!GC!!
I may be the only one, but I love the country! No your not the only one, i love it too. Its has loads of my fave places to visit and i cant believe the detail gone into it. And to think only 4 people at R* created the whole countryside, its amazing. I love just crusing around Red County in my Infernus and visiting the small towns, especially Palomino Creek. Oh and you cant forget The Panoptican

Girish
@123Robot: How the hell do you "forget" to use the SA map? It's pretty easy to overlook, especially if you have been playing a lot of GTA III.
alexrdh
LOL I thought that this whole topic is like "I hate this country, Damn! Australia!" LOL but it's THE country lol The country isn't that bad but when i try to get up hills with a walton is impossible Lol... Australia isn't really much outback, it's only one state that's called the "outback" which is Northen Territory. So Australia isn't that much outback than you think. OT. I don't think the countryside is annoying, it's nice to walk around and enjoy the sunset. And first time I played the game I got Lost in the country side but I used the map. There is alot of cliffs with grips to get out of the water

mostwanted468
i hate country i have to make frequent trips just to get from one missionto another or some other location it takes 5 mins to get from one side of the country to another and thats not including getting lost turning back crashing car having to run2 mins to find a road where a car will be and chances are its a slow car its even worse if your car lands in water you have to swim to find a shore then find a road
Functaztig
I also hate the countryside because it's hard to drive.and drivers drive so slowly.. but there are things to enjoy..(like a combine) Not on the highway. Those drivers drive really fast on the highway And it makes the spawning system flaw. I was on a ride, looked back there was nothing in almost 100m. Slowed down the car a bit when I looked back again there was a car running to me in top speed... That car rammed me and the driver became aggressive. My car was half wrecked after gone through the country

1066ant
Yeah, when you total your car by falling of cliffs and stuff and have to walk to the main road it can seem a bit spooky. I follow the map to the main road and there's allways some stupid cliff in the way. It's a good area if your in a car, but the dsert is my favorate place. Watching City Slickers choke! GTA SA is the GTA with the most country and it was done rather well IMO. So, I guess I disagree even if watching you choke was a blast! Stefan.
I like the country, because it vaguely reminds me of the village where my dad grew up in Europe. Although, I prefer the desert much more. More interesting and spooky. And the reason that Australians live on the coast is because 85% of the land is unliveable; crops will fail, not enough water, and pretty much stale and boring. 85% of Australia is quite crap, to be honest. Even the cities can sometimes lack charm sometimes. European landscapes are various, and are more interesting; same with those in North America. Asia is too remote, and South America is a tad too extreme for my liking. Africa is too hot.

Struff Bunstridge
I hate the country. Everything's miles away from everything else, and everyone drives like a freaking maniac. Also, there's nobody to shoot, nothing to do, no vehicles to steal unless you like playing chicken, and unless you've done the Burglary missions, you run out of sprint, so you have to walk everywhere r-e-a-l-l-y slowly. And you lose traction on grass and sand in vehicles at high speed. And water traps come at you out of nowhere, and then you have to swim for about a thousand miles just to make it to a beach in the middle of nowhere with a cliff you can't climb. And then it starts raining. And then the game tells you you haven't eaten for ages becuase you've been swimming for three weeks, so you start losing muscle. And then, when you finally stagger onto the freeway after doing your Bear Grylls impression, you get run over. I hate the country.
