Steve Crook
How believable are those in game stats? Mine currently says that my longest two wheeled distance is 283255840.00 ft. That's 53,646.94 miles! I don't remember staying on two wheels for that long Is the whole playing area that big? Steve Crook
That's faked No it isn't. That's a screen grab from the stats page Steve
Steve Crook
Wonder if that's a record? It might well be if I had actually done it That's genuinely what it says on the stats page but although I've done a few short runs on two wheels I don't think I've even covered 100 yards on two wheels in this session. Certainly not 53,000 miles Steve
punknoodle
Hey Steve C....I'm not sure but is that the glitch that occurs when you deliver the barrels to Verdant Meadows during one of the Quarry missions? Something happens when you drop the barrels...I just never paid attention on mine.... Fin (fixin) ta check it. Off topic I've several times done a perimeter "roadtrip" to estimate the circumference (?) (area) of SA...always comes out to 16 miles +/- AROUND...you could figure sq. miles from that. Also area would be some what bigger since I used roads and some cross country'in and was not always on the exact edge all the time.

But I have done all the quarry missions so it might well be that one. As for measuring the length of a road do you just measure it "flat", as it is on the map? Or do you take all the hills and valleys into account? A very hilly road can add quite a bit to the distance Steve
Rhoda
On my ARMax file, I've set all the figures for 9999999 and they rise even further when you do more and more of said stat. Do you use any cheat device of any kind Steve?

And I have never used any mods or external tools either Steve
pdescobar
There are various stats-related bugs. As punknoodle noted, the one Quarry mission where you dump explosives at the airstrip almost always results in a ridiculous double insane stunt bonus with a length of over 6000 feet, the meters-to-feet conversion is wrong on the longest basketball hoop, and wheelies/stoppies/2-wheels sometimes trigger wrongly with crazy bonuses like Steve had. Also, the whole of SA is 36 sq km (6km x 6km).
Stefan.
Wow, you're modesty is quite strong. It's most likely a glitch, I suppose. Like someone previously mentoned, it would maybe have to do with the quarry mission (which is strange, considering that I've never heard of that glitch before). punknoodle
Ok...just checked a few things...pdescobar is right about the Quarry mission...my bad...sort of. Not bad for not having a clue...all in 2 seconds. You too man... In my perimeter driveabouts if the road paralleled the ocean I used it and stayed about same distanc away if no road. Went up and down alot I'm sure. And yea...2 wheel distance records I've never tried to do on purpose. Except motorcycle of course!
