GTASIX
Months ago R* invited all the magazines and journalists to a gameplay preview of GTA IV. You know, the one with goldberg and the first mission. Has anyone got any info about what it looked like? Or is there a video of this? Its the only time that anyone will have seen actual game footage of IV so I just want to know what it looked like.
mudriy
Judging by the responses, it looked great.
willgtavcs
well tom golberg had short curly grey hair a long nose a whiny voice and was very sure what he was saying was true and he was thompson(jack) goldberg
GTASIX
No one even sneaked a camera in with them and took a vid?
ieatyourface
No one even sneaked a camera in with them and took a vid? I think that R* probably would have had them sign some sort of legal documentation, promising not to disclose the information. That's a huge guess, but whatever. MICLO19
The preview was months ago .. if anyone had any video of it dont you think it would have been out by now? .. just read the magazines you can basiclly "see" it through reading them

MysteryGamer
I wish these previews were openly shown to the general public but Rockstar feel the less we see the better I guess. I mean It would be great just to see a few short gameplay clips even if all Niko does is jog up the road, jack someones car and drive to some interior location. You could potentially see a lot during that time, so I guess that is why none of these videos have been released. Yet.

TheRoper
Personally, I don't even think I'd want to see a gameplay clip... If one comes out, I probably won't watch it. Nothing but screens (and maybe another trailer) for me. $$$ MAKE MONEY WITH NEOBUX $$H
Deuce Deuce
To be honest with you, I think for people to see an actual in-game video it would draw people in to the hype and anticipation a lot more (including me), as you will actually be able to see what you will be doing, not look at some still renders and cutscenes. Not enough to show too much, however.

Nothing but screens (and maybe another trailer) for me. I doubt there will be anymore trailers, as there was only 3 confirmed from Rockstar via the 1UP podcast interview. I assume as soon as Rockstar finally announce the official release date the official website will be updated soon after with more interactivity like being able to view certain parts of the map and probably short in-game clips similar to the previous games before they released. Deuce Deuce cool signature by the way.
The Killa
It's called teasing and Rockstar is no stranger to it. I would not expect anything else from now until release day except some screenshots. I'll wait and not spoil it for myself what the gameplay looks like, even if they release a footage of it. MysteryGamer
I feel like a small child on christmas eve. And as far as I know GTA IV is at least 4 months away. I need some more info. I know what you mean. I have to admit though it is good Rockstar are revealing less than they ever have on a Grand Theft Auto title, mainly because although Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was great I found hardly anything in the game a surprise. Except the twists in the storyline. The less we know the better actually in my opinion. I have willpower for pretty much anything but I question myself If I could resist not viewing any gameplay videos.

I think that R* probably would have had them sign some sort of legal documentation, promising not to disclose the information. That's a huge guess, but whatever. The xbox has somthing done to it so it may not take video. Anyway, the topic started poses a really good question. To make it more direct: What was the HUD like? What did MrCreary look like? Was most textures done? Stuff like this still hasn't been answered.
RandomLoser
They said that the HUD was very simplistic and sleak. They said that it was one of the best looking next-gen games out there (I guess you have to see it in action 'cause what I've seen wasn't exactly mind blowing) and that the level of detail was amazing. You say all of that as if you were there. These are just your opinions. And I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Rockstar had everyone frisked xD I'm sure they at least checked people's bags and stuff. I mean, that happens at most public events I go to, so of course a big top-secret game meeting would have them =P Anyway, I wouldn't mind a quick gameplay video. I would be satisfied just seeing a 10 second clip of Niko running, walking, and jumping =P

DigitallyInsane
I'm pretty sure I remember reading that there was a PR lady from Rockstar at the door making sure noone took cameras or phones in, and that bags and the like had to be left at the door. Kelao
Even if someone had managed to sneak a tiny camera in there, every demo is different and R* would very quickly know who leaked it. The same often happens while producing movies too.
willgtavcs
what could rockstar do to that person there were proberbly 50 people all watching the demo and were only website reporters and they could always put a digital camera in there underpants and pull it out quickly when the demo starts i think the people need to expain the demo more saying exactly what each person looked like exactly what the hud was they would just post it on that website i think anybody who was a t E3 could see that demo and i think basically everyone can go there

Kelao
what could rockstar do to that person Well, since all reporters sign a non-disclosure agreement, the reporter in question would get a spanking big lawsuit on his ass. Any sane person would leave cameras outside unless they're rich (which most game magazines aren't). Oh, I was actually right about that? LOL. Yeah, it's common practice for game-testers. Multiplayer games often have closed beta versions that a select group of people are allowed to play, providing they do not give out information on the game.
