Scarface187
Well the year will be closing in a few weeks so I thought I'd post this topic to see what everyone listened to this year and what was the best in their opinion. Heres mine: - Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet (Nothing topped this album for me. Already a classic in my mind.) - Coheed & Cambria - Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV Volume 2: No World for Tomorrow (This was my introduction to this band and what a great introduction.) - Rush - Snakes and Arrows (Took awhile to grow on me but it was overall a great album.) - Blackfield - Blackfield II (A Steven Wilson side project, thats more melodic and less experimental sounding than Porcupine Tree but its great.) - Opeth - The Roundhouse Tapes (A live album but its so f*cking good that I'm including it on my list.) Other mentionables that I have nothing to say about: - Radiohead - In Rainbows - Iced Earth - Framing Armageddon - HORSE the Band - A Natural Death - King Diamond - Give Me Your Soul...Please - The Dillinger Escape Plan - Ire Works - Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos - Municipal Waste - The Art of Partying This list is not final exactly. There might be some others that come to my head.
