Picolini
Well, it's obviously fake, which kind of takes away from the humor. Still funny. I particularly liked the "Dacia Donut" video near the bottom. Funny sh*t...
kevin2006rhs
lol Racer 2: [This] is Lada. 1.3 GTX Turbo. Shes smooth, like snake. lurchseesu420
My grandfather still has a Lada in Bulgaria. He got it when I was born, which was in 1988. Although it was built in the late 80's the design is fairly old (1960's-1970's). Think VW beetle (old design but was still being made up until the 90's, before the new beetle was introduced). I gotta say, although the Lada is old and slow (not nearly as slow as shown in the video) it was quite fun when I drove it around last summer, plus many people still use it there - for some reason, these cars simply do not break! They can take pretty much anything thrown at them and still get around. The beetle was made until July 2003. The T2 Transporter (microbus) is still made today. How much power does a Lada have anyway. Is it slower than a beetle?

And the citroen 2cv was made from 48-90. It just shows how hard it is to replace basic transport. The Beetle, Mini, and 2cv were perfect at what they did and it's a shame they were discontinued. Old as hell, but it's one of those awesome mid-engined ones, engine's pretty much right over the rear axle. No power at all, but it's built like a tank. I can just imagine what would happen if you dropped a 911 Turbo motor and tranny in there.

You could even drop a 911 motor into a old Type 2 camper with a bit of work, now that would be epic. mod it with Nitrous Oxide and chassis dyno. And it doesn't require too much work. Except for stiffening up the whole thing. Edited December 10, 2007 by lurchseesu420
Starion
Holy.. Now that is cool. If I ever done such a thing though I probably wouldn't take it to the track.. So I have an excuse to keep everything inside of it rather than shed weight by taking it all out. A camper isn't a camper if you can't live inside of it. lol mod it with Nitrous Oxide and chassis dyno.
lurchseesu420
It wasn't a westfailia camper anyway. Just a regular Kombi. Still even the base models make good campers. Suburu engines are popular for the later water cooled Vanogons to replace the sh*tty waserboxer with. . I've seen a few with WRX STI turbo engines as well as the big SVX Flat 6. Some old Bus's have Air cooled Porsche power(although it's expensive and rare). Most just build up their VW 4's. Kimd41
Cars look sh*t. But i wouldnt mind their woman... Yuck dude Pretty much 80% are ugly. Srlsy I find only 2 girls hot. Bulgarians are better. Romania may be a bit better than Bulgaria in popularity, streets, but we win when talking for girls, cars, etc... No country-fanboism, just the truth. Mega
Small banging. I believe the jiguli is one of the worst cars of the early 70s in terms of passive safety. Signature soon.
