FBI? Federal Agents?

New outfit for FBI??? if it is the FBI, you can see a patch/some words on the soulders of the men in black,

and since it looks like a police chase, then it must be som federal agents chasing, or what???

To me, they just seem like the NPC's reacting to the weather. They all look like they are wearing rain coats, they are only carrying handguns (except for the one with the shot gun, I think they are just wearing coats because of the rain. The FBI usually come packing a little more heat than a few pistols or a shotgun.

If you take into account their identical clothing and the writing on their overcoats, they may be FBI agents. The two that are on eah side of the pic are carrying shotguns, while the other two which are behind Niko both look like they are aiming handguns or another small gun (SMG, perhaps?). To the person that said the FBI carry heavier weaponry, for all we know this is just one level of the wanted system. The next one could have them carrying automatic weaponry. Not that I would know.

 

Another interesting thing I noticed is that those two big spotlights in the image look like they could be from a football pitch or a stadium.

I am British, those agents barely look anything like the police over here in England.

uhm, now i think about it then they could be LCPD,

'cause if you look at there clothes then you can see thay have a lightblue shirt with a tie under the coat.

Depends, the normal patrol police just carry stunguns and night sticks. Police assigned to big events usaully carry some kind of gun.

You are correct I think I remember seeing that statue some wear before. So judging by that globes location Niko is in the Dukes (Queens) area of Liberty City.

 

Come to think of it, it does just look like some normal LCPD cops but they are wearing rain coats.

the "Team" should carry heavy weapons and the agents small weapons.

It looks, to me, like they've got suits on underneath those coats. That's what makes me think they're FBI.

Or they could be CIA agents, like the ones you see in gta 3 when you have to take ray to the airport.

If anyone noticed there seems to be a "cop car" a little bit far away. So it has to do something with law enforcements. Maybe homeland security from that pic someone found out in Trailer 2?

EDIT: Doesn't look like normal cop cars, because they have LCPD written on their "sides" and as you can see it looks like this side is totatly black.

Yes, very true, I commented on that in another thread but without the screenie, so ppl ignored it probably. I actually just saw a cop wearing very similar yesterday.

I'd love that to be implimented in this new GTA - I hated the old mp5 packing agents, it was very unrealistic. The agents always are armed like police - pistols and shotguns. The specialist assault/combat teams or squads are usually the ones carrying heavy guns. I think they are armed just like SWAT, but have different stuff written on their backs.
