Because Phil Collins was one of the most famous recording artists in the '80s, not to mention 'In the Air Tonight' kicks ass. There's really no other song in the game that I'd rather save his ass too. Or maybe it's because he's one of the only '80s superstars who agreed to portray themselves in a pretty violent video game.
