DEVluke
probably something really simple im doing wrong, but im trying to make a small, very low detail model to use as an island just to test a few models as i make them etc. my problem is... basically they never show up. about 10m x 10m and in-game its just... not there, the col loads fine but no textures. also... i make my models in sketchup and then using 3ds max make .dff and .col, when in sketchup though i work with actual sizes... i have been importing my models and scaling them at 3% their normal "real life" size... should i be using a different ratio or?... err?... what? blazevski
for size I suggest u import a player model with kams scripts to see the size... or car mesh or anything else hat could be used as comparison... about model not showing up... it must have pivot point in 0,0,0 possition... maybe thats problem... or u didnt reset x form... JohnPro
Before export set the X, y and Z to 0 I had this problem before When i add the col it disappears when i remove the col it appears. Best way to solve these problems it starting fresh. Import your dff. > rename it (something totally different) > export it > export col > Make Txd (lol check to make sure you havent got an alpha texture) Import to img and it should work.
