Did you scratch it? Try CD Check. I checked the disc and for some reason, it does have a few scratches on it, I always left it in the ps2 when I switched off so I don't know how that happened. Yea right, that would just break the disc, so stop trying to trick me into breaking it. No, dude. Honestly. Google it. The toothpaste acts as a very fine sanding compound and smooths out the more flat scratches that cause the laser light to break up causing DRE's. It's worth a try, especially since the choice beyond 1 cent worth of toothpaste is 20 dollars for something you already own... Is this a PS2 slim? If so, any games that give you errors, just push on them after they are in the system, at the "back" of the system. If you have an old disc, that it's scratched, and you don't want it anymore , try the toothpaste and cloth, and if it worked, try it on San Andreas disc.( By the way, the message you get is : Error readig the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas disc.
