Slamman
Ice-T is a smart guy, but him being a rapper? He needs to practice more. Umm, this is the Hip Hop radiostation, I mean, just pick this selection Rockstargames, you guys won't be dissapointed, the fans will go crazy over this Hip Hop selection, since most people like Hip Hop. Ice T has transitioned from being a rapper, and his work with Bodycount had the big wigs shaking, his track CopKiller was virtually banned. I don't think they had a Hip hop channel that was all inclusive, but I preferred Radio Los Santos by far, but Chuck D certainly gets respect for his work in rap over the years... BUT I would have given Rockstar money to use She Watch Channel Zero over the SA selection that is more annoying to me. See, I was exposed to some underground tunes besides metal, but this is Rockstar, they need to keep the ROCK end up
Southside Dukes Ballas
I just upgraded the list. Wu-Tang is sick, yeah. I could of put a few more songs, but I think I should just end it with C.R.E.A.M. classic Hip Hop joint. Bone Thugs N Harmony - Flow Motion (Strength & Loyalty version) C.R.E.A.M. - Wu-Tang (You need to put this in) Big Proof - Clap With Me/Kurt Kobain (You will be disrespecting the memory of Big Proof, deceased Detriot rapper) Why do you disagree with Bone Thugs N Harmony - Flow Motion? There speed and rhyming were good. Especially the speed. Wu-Tang C.R.E.A.M.? That's a classic joint, infact it's one of my favourite songs that were ever made. What's wrong with it? And why not Big Proof? Clap With Me was some ill song, what? Just because he said "This is just a glimpse, the nine drum line made G-Unit pimps". See G-Unit is a label, with Mack 10, Young Buck and Mobb Deep. Kurb Kobain is a song for us people to remember him. Anyways, I think it would be disgusting if there is no C.R.E.A.M. - Wu-Tang in this videogame. what the f*ck? Mac 10 aint on no f*ckin G-Unit. He's a trash ass Cash Money where he belongs because he's a trash ass rapper without WC and Cube. And I don't think you payed much attention to what I said earlier. They don't play no damn Royce Da 5'9 or no Proof on Hot 97 or Power 107. On occasions yes but they play strictly NY sh*t on those stations ranging from classics, modern and underground NY rap. But on the CREAM subject there is way harder Wu Tang songs than that and the 2001 Queens version by 50 Cent and Tony Yayo was harder than the Wu version. They just need to keep the rap stations strictly NY to keep the NY feel in LC even tho they're different cities. Have a station based of Hot 97 and Pow 107 and then make another station that supports all types of rap. I liked how SR had the stations with K-Rhyme and that other rap station doing the more hardcore sh*t then Sizzurp did more Southern type sh*t. xxmylastregrets
Why did you have to start a new topic about this? What's wrong with this topic? He wanted to show his own playlist of rap for the game to everyone. Now shhh.
YourNeighborhoodKiller
Eazy-E, Wu Tang Clan, Snoop, Dre, and of course EMINEM, will do.
RandomLoser
You have good taste, OP. You managed to list almost all of my favorite rap artists. The rap industry needs less pretentious airheads and more real talented people like OP listed. Oh well, since the niche audience for rap these days is spoiled suburban white kids, I guess we won't see that happening. KeNrosenberG
Thank you Randomloser. Well, I want to be a Radio DJ or a Video Editor for my career, but I don't know how to start a radio station or who I would ask to play my music on. Dotsanddimes
if it were 90's i'd agree but it's current so....yea. I'd rather they play like saigon and papoose, just to keep it current, and of course throw in some illmatic and low end theory and ready to die every once in a while
KeNrosenberG
These songs arent really that old... Msot of these were made 2000+ Papoose, I disagree, I don't know why people call him sick, he can't cut rhyming. But I do agree with Saigon. KeNrosenberG
Lol, yeah. I still listen to WHAT HE SAYS, he is a smart guy. But I don't like his music, I tried my best to listen to him, I checked quite a few songs, if Rockstargames wants to put a KRS-ONE song in there, put in a "A Friend". But seriously, there was some Kool G Rap Vs KRS-ONE Hip Hop thing, KRS-ONE, I could not understand it, people say he is underrated by the media, if so, yes, but he is overrated by people who know Hip Hop. I was talking to an elder Hip Hop fan and said to him "Don't you think KRS-ONE is overrated?" he replied "I'd rather say he is overrated" then I explained about these intellectual Hip Hop heads saying he is better then Kool G Rap and he is so sick and I really didn't think he was that special and he just told me that I grew up listenning to all that Pop Rap sh*t e.g. AZ - Come Up. Name your top 30 rappers list - top 50 if you can. How many mixtapes/albums has this guy made? I mean, he is not likeee the worst rapper ever (Souljah Boy & sh*t), but there are 1,000s of rappers better then him. Who cares if they do it for the money? If they're good then they're good. If there is any Souljah Boy, I will throw rocks at Rockstargames company. Compare Big L's punchlines to Lil Wayne's
ryuclan
Isnt Big L dead...? and anyway I wont name 30 or even 50 because I wont be able to actually list them. All of the rappers are good cause they have their own style and do things their way. Its when rappers try to bite that they get lame. Lil wayne has his own style and he's been around for a long time. Yes, close to being one of the best...and when it comes to liking rappers, its all personal preferance. I say Lil Wayne you may say Big L or somebody, doesnt matter, cant please everyone all the time. There is nobody in the industry that absolutely everyone will agree is the best. So this argument is pointless. Just keep an open mind and listen to him, he's saying more then you can hear.
