BigBoyTraks
I wonder how they will do the actual hip hop list. Since its based on present day 2007/2008 will they play more current hip hop or a mixture of old and new.

*Word*
Since there will be probably be a more mainstream hip hop station based on music of today (and possibly a more underground hip hop station consisting of more songs as you said) there will probably be: Recent Jay-Z Possibly 50/G-Unit T.I. Luda Three 6 Mafia some more commercially popular southern hip hop Possibly some Nas Kanye Lupe etc... more mainstream hip hop that receives much airplay Ps. Not that I want this to happen, but just what I think. But then again look at Game FM on GTA3, that was the sole hip hop station and that was all underground sh*t. Himuro
I really hope they do not do a lot of modern mainstream hip hop, because most of it sucks these days.
Southside Dukes Ballas
Well there should be 2 rap stations since in NY we have Power 107 and Hot 97 and we should have different DJs and sh*t like that but on the song side keep it like it really is here. Mainly NY rappers and underground cats. They don't play no damn Royce Da 59 of Hot 97 or Power 107 and even though he was a favorite in GTA 3 that dosen't sit well with me but I really dont care. any Mobb Deep, early Jay Z, early Nas, early 50, any Wu Tang Clan, C-N-N( Capone N Norega), Nore, any Biggie, any Junior Mafia, any Ma$e and mainly NY cats in general. Throw in some fictional rappers for Liberty City then that'll be all good.

KeNrosenberG
Aight, there seems to be some retarded people here. I am not puting in no crunk. I am not a fan of KRS-ONE Hahaha, there's not even Public Enemy, Notorious B.I.G., Mobb Deep, Big Daddy Kane, Run-DMC, Gang Starr... All f*cking bands from NY !!!! Honestly go learn some about real rap !!!!!!!! I was thinking of putting in Public Enemy - He Got Game, but it wasn't hardcore enough. I put Notorious B.I.G. already. Ayyo, Mobb Deep? Look, son. I got 15 albums by Mobb Deep, what you talking about I don't know real rap, you're a f*cking retard and maybe I just forgot to put them on there? OR maybe there was better people. "Bands"... You f*cking fresh ass motherf*cker, Public Enemy is the only band their. The others are 1 rapper or duo's. You retard. Big Daddy Kane, omg this guy, the only good song I heard was him was some song with Big L, his beats ruin his songs. Run DMC, it's aleady been played on GTA. DanRev
Pretty decent list. As long as theres no fiddy cent in the real thing I'm alright. Here's hoping for lots of the wu tang.
KeNrosenberG
I just upgraded the list. Wu-Tang is sick, yeah. I could of put a few more songs, but I think I should just end it with C.R.E.A.M. classic Hip Hop joint. Bone Thugs N Harmony - Flow Motion (Strength & Loyalty version) C.R.E.A.M. - Wu-Tang (You need to put this in) Big Proof - Clap With Me/Kurt Kobain (You will be disrespecting the memory of Big Proof, deceased Detriot rapper) Why do you disagree with Bone Thugs N Harmony - Flow Motion? There speed and rhyming were good. Especially the speed. Wu-Tang C.R.E.A.M.? That's a classic joint, infact it's one of my favourite songs that were ever made. What's wrong with it? And why not Big Proof? Clap With Me was some ill song, what? Just because he said "This is just a glimpse, the nine drum line made G-Unit pimps". See G-Unit is a label, with Mack 10, Young Buck and Mobb Deep. Kurb Kobain is a song for us people to remember him. Anyways, I think it would be disgusting if there is no C.R.E.A.M. - Wu-Tang in this videogame.

KeNrosenberG
Yeah, San Andreas Hip Hop was classic. But it needs to be more 2000ish. Nearly all of these songs are new. RockstarGames should promote some of these rappers, it's not like they are doing them a favour to the rappers, they deserve the recongnition. And the most exposure you can get is in GTA IV, even more exposure then being on T.V. Remember when Ice Cube - It Was A Good Day was on San Andreas? If you wanted to watch it on youtube, there would be tons of people saying "This is from GTA: San Andreas". --- Handcuffed in back of a bus, forty of us Life as a shorty shouldn't be so ruff But as the world turns I learned life is hell Living in the world no different from a cell Everyday I escape from Jakes givin chase, sellin base Smokin bones in the staircase Though I don't know why I chose to smoke sess I guess that's the time when I'm not depressed But I'm still depressed, and I ask what's it worth Ready to give up so I seek the Old Earth Who explained working hard may help you maintain to learn to overcome the heartaches and pain We got stickup kids, corrupt cops, and crack rocks and stray shots, all on the block that stays hot Leave it up to me while I be living proof To kick the truth to the young black youth But shorty's running wild smokin sess drinkin beer And ain't trying to hear what I'm kickin in his ear Neglected, but now, but yo, it gots to be accepted That what That life is hectic Classic verse from C.R.E.A.M. Slamman
This should be in general Discussion rather then GTA4 still. It's obvious this is just fan picks related to hip hop, which I stress is a small part of GTA. I don't care to hear too much of this and I'm sure you would say the same for my tastes...so consider that rather then attack... BUT I would say only one thing Rockstar needs to include to top off their selections; Ice T and BodyCount!!!! All the way, baby!
KeNrosenberG
Ice-T is a smart guy, but him being a rapper? He needs to practice more. Umm, this is the Hip Hop radiostation, I mean, just pick this selection Rockstargames, you guys won't be dissapointed, the fans will go crazy over this Hip Hop selection, since most people like Hip Hop.
