lamboman998
If you Google video "San andreas multiplayer" there are a lot of cool videos. SAMP offers limitless possibilities. One of them is that there can be hundreds or thousands of vehicles randomly piled in certain locations. There are also huge structures such as buildings that go way beyond the normal sky limit. SAMP offers a lot of cool things to do if you're bored with SA. I played SAMP for a while, until my computer crashed, but it was fun while it lasted. FullMetal
Yes. Yes there are. SAMP ftw SAMP is bugged.... yes it's fun I can't deny that, but MTASA looks more stable (and is more stable, look at race). But yeah, MTASA won't ever be released. And it looks like SAMP stopped developing/working on updates or newer versions.

They are if you find the addresses for loading dff and txd files dynamically and rebuilding the img. Who says we don't have those? Or perhaps even have better ways to load files, the thing is, the new version indeed is under development these days, a number of new features (some of which have been listed in this topic as well!) have been implented, and there is progress. There just isn't much noteworthy yet, and if we feel that there is enough to tell you about it will be done using a post in the blog. Quote from peter on sa-mp forums Who says there not developing? But you will be able to play MTA indefinitely
discovery97
You have deserved it......everyone who plays san andreas ends up getting their computer f**ked up so this is why I hate writing about these stories............ok here goes. Everyone has to stop playing sa-mp because, 3 steps. 1 it sure is fun. 2 its hard to get sa-mp to work with this downloading stuff. and LASTLY 3 it crashes your computer and then you have to get it fixed. Hope someone will read this and stop sa-mp Regards.
manofpeace
What computer do you have that crashes from SA:MP? sh*tway 900? Even my little laptop can handle SA:MP after already having a bunch of other stuff (Flight Simulator X in mind) on it. My only trouble with SA:MP is that it's too addicting. I've stayed up until 5 thrity in the morning, laughing my ass off at some of the retards on there. But I digress. It's alright, and the mods are awesome too. agent17
My computer can handle SAMP fine, it just the damn clients that sucks. MTA runs perfectly. SAMP is broken, filled with errors. They should have made it runnable before releasing it.
Pat
Agent17, please, would you stop with the fanboyism? We know you prefer MTA. Unfortunately for you, this forum is for SA:MP, and this website is owned by the GTANetwork, which created SA:MP. If you want to talk about how MTA is so much better than SA:MP, go do it on a forum that supports MTA.
Peter
Development indeed is still going steadily, however, we do not consider the current progress to be worthy of a video/blog post. Alot of bugs and crashes have been fixes so far, and there is daily progress with minor new features, and of course as much bug-/crashfixes as possible. It's quite hard to make a blogpost out of this however - showing screenshots of solved bugs is... difficult. There are new features, on which I won't go into detail, so stay tuned
Yatesyz
I have been playing sa-mp around a year now but was very disapointed with v0.2. It's very buggy and needed more time to make it more stable. It's unplayable by the number of crashes, unless its just the server script that is bad. I might play sa-mp again if they release a good, stable version that is playable.
Cam
If you're really crashing that often you should try another server.

Simon.
how can you get san andreas multiplayer?????? You need GTA San Andreas for PC for starters. If you have GTA San Andreas for PC then go to SA-MP.com, click Downloads and download it from the client section (currently named "SA:MP 0.2.2 R2 Client"). Read this link for a quick guide on how to install and use SA-MP.
Og_loc
Very unstable mod, scripting capabilities are called 'unlimited' I think not, I'm not flaming here just stating my opinion, the capabilities are limited compared to that of MTA SA DM and crashes are very frequent, just hope the MTA Team can get there mod out soon and show the men from the boys. Deji
it crashes your computer and then you have to get it fixed. only if you dont know what your doing. i had it for ages. its fine. SaMP has HUGE possibilities. im wating for it to start remembering my gang information. I Thought MTA Was Gonna Be Good But It Only Does San Andreas Race. Go To The GTAG Website It's Not Finished But Its Good.
