Pulse.
Hello, over the summer I ended up selling my Xbox360 to my friend to buy parts for upgrading my computer. So he uses my account (Mikeeeeey1 on XBL) but doesn't use live. So about a month after I upgraded my computer it just completely fries on me. Anyway what I was wondering is, I'm buying a new 360 for christmas, can I activate my Account on my new 360 and it will restore it to all the things that I had before I sold it? Help is appreciated, thank you.
SHXC
I think you can, yes. You can retrieve your old gamertag and information, and download your profile, I think. I'm not 100% certain.

Made
You'll be able to recover your Gamertag (name) and your gamer score (achievements). Also you'll be able to redownload any Xbox Live Arcade games you already purchased for free. You won't be able to get your game saves through this method though. If you want all your previous game saves you'll have to get a memory card and stick it in your friends Xbox and transfer the saves there. Then transfer them again to your Xbox. You've been very helpful. . But im not really worried about my saves, what about like gamercard profile pictures? will those transfer or will I have to do the memory card thing? I assume Microsoft treats bought gamer pictures/themes the same way as the arcade games. So yes, any gamerpics you bought from the marketplace, you'll be able to download them again free of charge.
