The Night Fox
The first Punisher movie was alright, I don't know what the next one will be like.
Groovy
It really looks like Steven Seagal. If only that were true though. Edited December 8, 2007 by Groovy
Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
I never really liked the first Punisher movie, that it was kind of lame even though in essence, he makes a great comic-to-movie character. But seriously, I though the first dude looked nothing like Frank Castle. But this guy?? Come on...
Elim Rawne
Not read much of the MAX series I take it, or seen Stevenson as Titus Pullo in Rome.

Elim Rawne
why didnt they use the original actor He walked because Lionsgate refused to pay him more money, Also he wanted the movie to be more of a superhero type film, anyone who has even heard of the Punisher knows that Castle isn't that kind of superhero, he's like a hardcore Batman, just a regular guy who gets pushed to the extreme by crime, just Castle is pushed much farther than Bruce Wayne. He was generally an ass to work with, they tried for 3 years to make a sequel with Jane before he walked. To those who say he doesn't make a good Punisher: Imagine a skull there on that shirt and you get this:
Tetsuo2501
Drawn by Marc Wolfe. Clint Eastwood. 'nuff Said. Thomas Jane is/was the softest Punisher known to man, the 1980's Punisher movie was better than that piece of flaming dog sh*t. Go ahead and try to use the "he's too old to be Punisher" on me. In marvel universe Frank Castle was in Vietnam, which would put him now in his 50+'s, but the biggest error out of all of this is that Frank Castle isn't The Punisher anymore, he's Captain America. Looks more like Sam f*ckin Fisher to me. Edited December 23, 2007 by Tetsuo2501

That's actually not true. He walked because nothing was getting done, he wanted more control over the film's direction, saying he wanted it to be more like the true Punisher. He also wasn't happy at all with the scripts that were getting turned in.
