Anyways, i'm having problems understanding how to install a sound mod, to be more precise - a Siren mod for the Police Cars. I've seen the tutorial on you-tube but it just confuses me. So well, if anyone cares to take the time to sit down with me and explain step-by-step how to install this mod i'll gladly donate a few $$ to the person who's willing to help out. Might sound stupid to pay for something which is already explained - think of it as an early x-mas present Write down your MSN if you've got experience doing these things and i'll add you asap. I don't really have much experience using the sound mods myself so it's worth being patient, you'll get a better answer.. I can only think you're using the old (command line version). That's because the command line isn't needed in the GUI version, just download the gui version from the link I posted above. Then extract the file, run the installer, then go to your "C:" drive and make a folder named "temp". Then go to "C:\Program Files\GFS" and open the gfs, now you can extract and import the files, the one you need to extract is "GENRL" for the police sounds. It should be in the readme exactly which sounds you need to replace. Have you downgraded the game already? or used any other modifications?
