Do quite a few pickups continuously and it soon mounts up. Don't bother about the fares themselves or the tips for getting there fast, it's the bonus every 5 fares that earns you the most money. Every 5 people you get $100 * the number of fares you've dropped off so for 5 fares you get $500, for 10 fares you get $1,000.
