FreakTheMad
Okay i upgraded my computer from a... AMD XP3200 1 Gig Dual Channel Ram ATI X1650 Pro AGP Windows XP Pro 32 bit SP2 DX 9.0c To this... Intel Q6600 2 Gigs of Dual Channel Ram ATI X1950 Pro AGP Windows XP Pro 32 bit SP2 DX 9.0c And i went to fire up GTA 3 and it will not work for me now. What it'll do is pop up the square box to get ready to load the game and then it will just disappear and will not completly load anymore. I have tried all kinda of diffrent display drivers and nothing will work for me. It's driving me crazy i can't seem to find or do anything to fix this and i so want to play the game on my PC. pdescobar
Delete the gta3.set file if you're using the same hard drive or you copied the whole User Files folder over to the new system. The set file should always be troubleshooting step #1.
