I do want a map with the game, I do use the maps they provide you with and we will get a map with the game. Guaranteed.

Thanks for the link..says "somewhat resembles the Vice City map"..two islands..my conclusion..I'll keep it to myself I think.

Yeah i hope there's a map with the game (can't see why not seeing as all the other titles have had maps). I like to read the manuel and look at the pictures in it aswell as looking at the huge map. Then once i've finished with the map i'll reverse it and pin the poster on my wall.

Back in the old days (C64. I'm old as dirt) we used to get huge manuals and loads of maps and stuff with every new game.

These days we barely get squat.

 

Do you want a paper map included with the game? Did you actually use the maps in the previous GTA games?

Or do you think that if the cell phone GPS/back button menu is good enough that we wont really need a paper map?

 

Does it remove you from the moment when you are running away from the cops then have to pause, bust out the map, and figure out where the heck you are going?

I used the map for SA for finding pool bars and stuff.

 

I think there should be one because the manual and map are basically tourist brochures. Purposely done by R* that way. BUT I don't want to have to use it if I wanna find a particular place like a bar or police station. I THINK All that stuff should be on the ingame map but you can toggle each Icon on/off.

 

SO I think it should be there for the GTA style but I really don't want to have to use it. Just as a Gimmick (a good one at that).

The map is part of the experience, it must be included. It accompanies

the visitor's brochures and liberty tree etc.

I was thinking it should come with a map similar to the fold-out New York City subway maps, showing subway routes/stops, bus routes, etc., along with everything else that a GTA map featured in the past.

Man, if there is no map in the case I will be highly dissappointed. I use the other maps to find locations so i dont have to keep going back and forth from map to game. Also I put things on there that arent shown on regular map. Like the multiplayer icons on SA.

When I learn the Games map well enough I turn them around then use them as a poster. Meaning I've now got 2 Liberty City Posters on my wall along with a Vice City and 1 San Andrea's with the box art.

 

Okay so I don't know San Andrea's as well as the others. I guess I was just lucky to have an extra SA map with Tempeny on the back.

 

 

Can't wait to get this map to add shortly after to my GTA Map/Poster Collection.

I never used the map as a map - just as a poster which is on the other side. I would still want a map with GTA IV!!

The more extras the better! It's helps to learn the layout of the city. When I first played San Andreas, I kept finding new places and got lost. The first few days playing a game are the best.
