bourn1964 Posted December 7, 2007 Share Posted December 7, 2007 (edited) rockstar wanted to sign a deal with sony back at when it was supposed to launch along side the 360..... but instead sony took back the ps3 for a year to make it RED RING PROOF ... and rockstar started worrying ' about microsoft bribing them and if the ps3 was going to have a huge enough install base' when GTA4 released so instead they took micro$oft's $50,000,000 bribe , and now they see sony has a strong enough base ' to get their money back and so much more,BUT they got a contract with microsoft an high caliber game now cost 50 million to make , sony has 6million ps3 owners willing to put down $65 each to buy GTA games if it stood next to sony , As Bungie has done to microsoft' it would become our war leader...... sony really wants to buy them but is afraid about all the controversy that the name would attach to the sony brand' and with sony's strict nicefulness rules 'the games would have less OMFG!! to them ....and become average with no surprises and not sell sony also probrably had a deal with rockstar to get a chip off every ps2 sold the first year of every game was out.....like maby 5-10% or i dunno the only weird thing is that Take 2/2k Games/Rockstar Games are under 1 house and 2K refuses to make BioShock on PS3.......rockstar is the real money maker' in the companies, and if the GTA makers are happy with sony ' why does 2K have to be against the idea I strongly Belive sony should grab the GTA series as their LOGO to say as did Micro$ with Bungie i think if the PS3 owners were assured a great brand would stay exclusive' They Would Support Them on whats fun to US' you like shooters and wish for rpg's, and have fighting games / ghost recon/rainbow six/halo/gears/..../blue dragon/lost odysee/......Dead or alive/virtua fighter/rumble roses we have Open Worlds, Driving, Adventure.... GTA/The Getaway/8 Days......./Gran Turismo/MotorStorm/.....Ratchet and clank/drakes fortune/Heavenly Sword you Xboys dont buy gta games cause you like them, you just want to own everything ...and claim LOOK AT ME!!! im #1 and claim you could have it anyways it looks like a good idea that if they do wanna go further after this ...they'll need the extra space on Blu-Ray Disk and also the ability to leave a larger footprint, stream things in quicker and have little or no loading times... save up to 20 gigs if it needs to on hard drive to give best experience possible.....since at least all ps3's come with 20 gigs and up and the more than twice power that ps3 packs over 360....which could be used to add extra touches only possible on ps3.. to give it a more unique experience every time extra Draw Distance, anti aliasing, trash, unique road damage, cars on screen and people......STUFF Edited December 7, 2007 by bourn1964 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyway GTA should really only be played on the playstation.....Its true home......It just fits right. And yeah if Sony made GTA an exclusive to PS3 i would consider sucking them all off. bourn1964 Posted December 7, 2007 Author Share Posted December 7, 2007 doesnt it affect you to know this one will be gimped some how... i heard the foot print you leave is very small ..you can shoot up a car and trash it' turn around and it dissapears.......and it must be a small city to fit it all on a 9 gig,.........since san andreas took up 4.5 or 7 gigs and these graphics arent just twice as better some one said they even took out 2 of the 5 burrows of new york to fit more important stuff in no planes cause of september 11 attacks .....so anyways are heli's gonna be drivable or locked off like in Liberty stories? Their not EQUAL.....maby PS3 = X-not-break-so-much-765 the only thing not better in ps3 is disk read speed....but makes more up for it cause memory can be chached onto 20 gig standard+ ps3 hard drives......streamed off quicker and less stress on the system Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So very sorry to burst your bubble, GTA IV on PS3 is not EQUAL to GTA IV on the 360. I mean DUHHHHHHHH, do you not understand what the DLC is???? EXTRA STORY! That means that when u PS3'ers finish the game.....THATS IT.....NO MORE STORY.....as opposed to us 360 people who will be enjoying the newly released "REST OF THE STORY" somewhere near the time of completion of the "PART OF THE STORY" you guys get to play. Now, which system is better?? I dont know, maybe PS3 is a better system, but GTA IV on 360 is going to be a BETTER GAME than the PS3 version. Also...there's no planes in the game because of the 9/11 attacks??? LMAO That's news to me, can you show me where you got it from? I'll even do it for you..... Here it is: Episodic: 1. pertaining to or of the nature of an episode. 2. divided into separate or tenuously related parts or sections; loosely connected: an episodic novel. 3. occurring sporadically or incidentally. Sooooooooooooo......a hat.....is not EPISODIC. Next you should go read all the official articles that have been written so far about the game.
