Traffic Tickets won't be possible in GTA

People say that it works good in Mafia, and it does, it makes it more realistic too even!

Why won't it work in GTA though? When a Police Officer pulls you over for a ticket, they scan the plates of a car to see if you're the owner and if it's stolen. Assuming the car is stolen and Niko has no real ID they can't give him a ticket, the most they can do is if they can pull you over Niko would be arrested.

There you have it. So unless you can buy cars in the future, tickets should not be in.

Not impossible, just not wanted.

The best thing about all the GTAs is that you have freedom to drive as fast as you want, in any stolen car you want. Bad enough worrying about being pulled over all the time in real life, I don't need it in my video games too.

Quoted for truth.

It would just get annoying having to follow speed limits and stop at red-lights, because that's what you do in real life. I play video games to escape reality.

I think it could work.

Someone mentioned something similar in another thread a while ago, saying that if you get caught speeding then a wanted star flashes. If you continue to speed then they'll chase you. If you slow down, however, they won't!

Not sure, though. dozingoff.gif

As do most people. So yes I agree with you Bren.

Though when Niko is being chased by the boats the Police Officer clearly says: Pull over! This is the Police!

Though they probably are going to bust him rather then ticketing.

Well they where raming him. I've never been pulled over by being knocked to the side of the road.

Well I've never been pulled over. But you get my point.

Well, then what is the point of getting pulled over? If you're not going to get a ticket/there is no consequences, what is the point besides a waste of time?

Supposedly money is going to be harder to come by, so a 500Dollar fine can be tough.

My apologies, I thought your topic was about how tickets WOULD work.... blush.gif

Thus, me explaining why it would be useless. It's is obviously late, and I should get some sleep.
