Would be funny though if she was working for them, conned you into thinking she is spying on them when in fact she is gathering info about you and lead to you getting into even more trouble. It was bollocks when you consider the rewards you were given. I don't think they were that prominent really, especially if you don't want the rewards. The only one we had to date was Millie in order to get the key card. But that was just another element of the heist missions. The heist is optional anyway and I don't think 3 or 4 dates is that much of a problem. For the most part the dates were just like alot of other missions (enter marker, drive somewhere, enter marker, drive back). I know a lot of people didn't like the dancing missions, but if you enjoyed the science experiments from Bully (and to some extent the playing method in Guitar Hero) then you're basically doing the same thing. I think it's just the idea of girlfriends in GTA that people don't like. The concept of "dating" just doesn't fit into what some people consider GTA to be. Unless R* have really outdone themselves and incorporated this in an amazing way, I think that everyone who didn't like it last time is not going to enjoy it in GTAIV either. As said above it might be interesting if they made good storylines out of these relationships. Some girls could get off on extreme criminal behaviour, while others would want you stop or you'd have to hide it. Stick a femme fatale in there who double-crosses you later. However they'd have to keep the storylines seperate from the main one and totally optional to please everyone. Does he get these girls online or can he approach anyone in a bar? And anyway R* said that you can have girlfriends in this one a long time ago. Hell shoot them in the head as soon as you see them if you hate them that much.
