Fakey_91
O RLY? That's good to hear, if indeed we can use them. When I'm bored on GTA I often try and maneuver around the city legitimately. Ha, you know, such as avoid crashing, staying within the speed limits; and I always wanted an indicator! Same here - but I get bored pretty fust. The peds drive too s-l-o-w Especially in the country in SA - where you just wanna flog it!!
P.T
Indicators would be a neat little feature 'if' they are featured in the game. The getaway did infact use them and as another user quite rightly said, they were manually controlled by L2 and L1. There was nothing wrong about them in the Getaway, so I can't see any reason why they wouldn't work in GTA IV. However, having 'manual' controls for the indicators does require at least 'two' buttons. Unless there are un-used buttons whilst driving the car, I cant see them being manually controlled as I wouldn't think 'indicators' would be at the top of the priority list for R*. Anyway we'll find out soon enough, but you'd be quite suprised about how much fun you can have with something as little as the indicators. manofpeace
I really remember these in either Vice City or San Andreas, just sometimes the AI would use it though. Or am I going crazy again?

They would just turn. I am 100% confident - just played VC and SA.........
Civkiller
Makes me wonder how it would work. I vaguely remember playing a game which had the turn signals on whenever you turned the wheels. Don't remember which game that was though. mafia had it like that, it sucked cus the signal will go on pretty much AFTER im turned already LMAO ya that's so true...the way to get it to work properly is to completely stop at a light hold the steering wheel the direction you want to go and then make your turn... Hot Rod
While I agree that turn signals for NPC driven cars is most beneficial I can't say the same for player controlled ones. Having them turn on while steering left or right would be a clumsy implementation and assigning two buttons just for this function would be a waste.
