Fakey_91
I spotted this the first time I saw the trailer. Even ask Jordan from PlanetGTA - I informed him of this though a PM. He will probably add it to his analysation of the trailer. I WIN

Jay
Makes me wonder how it would work. I vaguely remember playing a game which had the turn signals on whenever you turned the wheels. Don't remember which game that was though.

E-lasto
I wonder if they turn the right way when you turn...? Doesn't seem like it will. 0:21-0:23, the blinkers don't seem to work for the car the player is driving.

RidingHigh
That's cool, but I'm guessing only the AI will use the turn signals, and Niko will only use them when driving in a cutscene. Since it would be pretty stupid to have the turn signal come on after you've already made the turn, like you're telling everyone behind you where you were. Unless of course, you can press left arrow for example to put your signal on.
Pagelzilla
I agree with the post above; Only AI will be able to use turn signals. I remember playing Driv3r (I think, correct if I'm wrong) which utilized turn signals in the game. When it came down to it they were really pointless. But it was raining through a majority of the trailer. Now, about this late signal thing. Welcome to modern times, friend. Drove a car lately? Don't you know, the considerate thing to do is to speed to your turn, slam on your brakes, THEN flip the turn signal. And the cherry on top is the major lawsuit you receieve for sending the jackass through his/her windshield. Long story short, it looks normal. Unfortunately, some idiots really do drive like that. RidingHigh
They sure do. I wonder if we'll see peds driving around who've had their blinker on since 1955 too. Or the ones who put their right blinker on, then turn left.
Ubersoldier
It's just reflections I think. because on the first screen the car is parked. or it are just the lights when you slow down. the turn signal are orange not red.
Rhoda
It may well be optional, giving a flick of the analogue stick left or right will turn them on and off, but it's not imperative. Perfect for avoiding the fuzz and laying low as a regular, law abiding citizen...
tmac9wr
Dude wicked solid snipe...I don't know how I feel about the prospect of turn signals tho....In my opinion there's no way you can efficiently show people wanting to go left or right...therefore no directional signals can efficiently be apart of the game. You think so yes, but in America (especially older cars) have the blinkers idiotically installed within the braking lights .. Unlike in the civilized world that uses differen set of lights. No, when you had no mission to do etc - you could actually manually turn on your indicators. I remember playing around with them when I stole one of those double decker buses

LCM
O RLY? That's good to hear, if indeed we can use them. When I'm bored on GTA I often try and maneuver around the city legitimately. Ha, you know, such as avoid crashing, staying within the speed limits; and I always wanted an indicator!
